The service staff was not very responsive and sounded rude. The bathtub was broken and then plastered. The rooms were not ... clean and old. The corridors are long and windy and rooms located far off resulting in a need to haul up your luggage for a distance. It was easy to be lost and took a while to figure out because of lack of proper signage. Continental breakfast was good though.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Have stayed here before and found it to be a nice hotel for the price. Room ... on this visit was a little musty and unfortunately directly across from the vending and ice machines so therefore noisy all night. Bed needs to have heavier blanket and/or comforter.

Pig City BBQ! Big BBQ fan and was kind of wary that this joint was in a strip mall but the brisket was one of the best I've ever had. If you like Barbecue, this place would be a definite.

Great hotel for the price. I always choose hotels in this price range and am not usually happy with the room or bed. The ... rooms were very clean, comfortable and had a nice bathroom. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. Although there were lots of people there at the time, you never felt crowded. Very charming and kind of old Kentucky feel. Really enjoyed the stay at this hotel and if I'm ever back in Kentucky we will stay again!

Did't have fridge or microwave in room was only disappointment. I could have asked for one and paid extra but didn't know ... until almost time to leave. I should have checked earlier so that was my fault. I should have gotten a king size bed....others are double beds instead of queen.....that would have made a difference on comfort. They are currently remodeling so I'll certainly be excited to see it next time! Yes! I will stay there again. The staff were some of the friendliest I've ever met and that made the entire stay worth it!!!!

We were in town for a conference, and by the pictures really felt like we got a deal. However when we walked in smelled the ... air we realized we only got what we paid for. The night club was obviously very loud and brought some interesting characters to the hotel. We would rather pay more and get a nice place than stay there again.

Great Rate, Nice Room!

We travel to Louisville every year to see my dad in nursing home, and always looking for a great rate, good location in ... proximity to him, and nice accommodations. We thought the Breckinridge met all requirements, and it did. Although the outdoor pool was already closed for the season, the indoor seemed busy. Morning continental breakfast a bit lame and needs improvement, otherwise, we'll be back. Rooms clean and comfortable.

The hotel is close to everything you would want to do in Louisville, just a short drive. The pools were both nice. The ... outside one was chilly but luckily the indoor was heated. We enjoyed every minute of it. The Hot tub too. The rooms werent bad and there continetal breakfast had options which is always nice. The staff met our needs and were friendly.

Room was clean. A lot of kids were in the hotel without much super vision. They were very loud and running in the halls ... outside our room and the floor above us. Walls are very thin. Overall, the hotel was adequate for what I paid.

I've stayed here before. A good value for the money. Room was clean, comfortable and in good shape. It's not a new hotel so ... the rooms are a bit small. Double instead of queen beds. Not a problem. Fresh fruit with the breakfast would be nice.

This is probably the best value in Louisville. Clean comfortable rooms, a great staff, a peaceful location, and a great ... price. This is the nicest older hotel I've ever stayed in and there were lots of evidence of the care taken by the staff to keep the property in top shape.

Was in town for three nights on a business trip, and came home to a quiet room which was very much needed! Staff was helpful ... with anything we needed. Very enjoyable stay. Will probably be back next week for round two!

We liked everything except the lifeguard at the pool, there was a little girl who lost something in the pool, she told the ... lifeguard who by the way was sitting over almost out of sight smoking and talking with his buddies and told the little girl to go tell someone else, so my son jumped in and retrieved the girls goggles.

This hotel was nice and quiet. Comfortable beds. Our only complaint was the "deluxe breakfast" - was very limited - not ... even any fruit or eggs, just bagels, donuts, muffins, toast and cereal.
