Family Graduation

We had a wonderful stay@ the Best Western Louisville East. It was outside the main drag but yet just a few minutes away from downtown. Close to the Louisville Slugger Museum & the Science Museum. On the 2nd day we were without water because of the water co. but the mgr made arrangements for us to move to the Baymont Inn & Suites. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Great location!

Hotel was quiet and the location was fabulous! The linens (sheets and towels) had stains on them, so that was a bit unnerving, but other than that the hotel was really nice. The breakfast was not a buffet, but they did have a decent menu. The downside was that you couldn't mix and match or request extra of anything. It was very disheartening for kiddos.

Family Trip

Room a bit dated, but clean and spacious. Nice hot breakfast in the morning got this family on the way well.

Good stay for price

The hotel was good, rooms were ok, not as clean as I would have expected (holes in some of the furniture, markings on sheets, could tell that corners of rooms were not vacuumed, hair in the shower). Rooms were however nice in size and comfortable. The breakfast that they serve was very good and what made the stay worth the price. Very friendly staff also made time enjoyable.

Great hotel

The staff was so nice and very helpful. We were wanting to stay another night and they were very accommodating with that. We ended up not being able to stay and helped to make sure we weren't going to be charged for that night. The pool was nice and my son loved it. The only down side was that it was so hot in there. Once you got in the pool it wasn't too bad. We will definitely be staying there again next time we are there.

Good for the price

For the money it was an okay stay. We were only there one night and didn't have to stay in the hotel much. When we entered there was a STRONG smell of smoke in the lobby. The decor is very dated, but our room was clean. The pool is VERY small so it's not great for kids. While we were in the pool we read the rules and it stated "no more than 5 (Yes, five) people in the pool at one time. The hot tub is even smaller. The staff was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was a hot buffet, but very limited on choices. Overall, it fit our needs for this trip, but I wouldn't want to vacation there.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

This hotel is close to anything you want to do on the eastend of Louisville. Oxmoor Mall and Mall St. Matthews are short drives, as well as, plently of dining options.

Quick Overnight

We only stayed at the hotel for one night but it definitely met our needs. Positives: huge room, plenty of room for 5 people. Nice beds. Swimming pool, although small worked well for my 3 and 5 year olds. Good location. Negatives: bathroom was run down. Generally speaking the hotel showed a lot of wear and tear. Would definitely stay there again!

great room for the price

Good location about 15 min from the airport. Couldn't find any restaurants nearby but the hotel restaurant was OK although the fryer was broken so we couldn't get any french fries. Hot tub was WAY too hot.

excelent deal

Hotel staff was very accomodating! Nice restaurant / bar, but service was slow. Clean rooms/small fitness area/pool and jacuzzi. Close to stores and restaurants. Would go there again.
