Quality Inn London

Upon arriving at this hotel, and walking into the lobby, two things caused me some alarm: the staff was friendly and the entrance was not covered with a thin layer of grime. I was reassured, however, when I walked into my room, where the stuffy aromas of stale cigarettes and cheap chemical cleaners kissed my face and greeted me like a soft and gentle welcome home. The multitudes of hairs in the bathroom and the occasional critter scurrying across the wall kept me company like a group of old friends. I've always been frustrated by air conditioners and key cards that actually worked when I use them, so you can imagine my delight when I had to switch rooms twice due to these items malfunctioning. Thank goodness my attempts to use the hot tub were squelched by an out-of-order sign. The next morning, as I travel onward with the beautifully ragged and torn marquee of the Quality Inn sinking proudly in my rear-view mirror, I breathe deep with a contented sigh, my stomach full of greasy sausage, mealy eggs, and watery orange juice. I now set my eyes to the horizon before me, wistfully wondering how many showers must be taken before the London, KY Quality Inn becomes nothing more than a distant memory.

OK for a stopover while on the road, clean, comfortable, good breakfast, didn't use pool or other services as just crashing for the night.

Went to a friends sons graduation. Description and pictures were good. The hotel appears to be nice until you walk in the room. My first room appeared as if someone had just gotten out of the bed. The desk person said that the maid may not have smoothed out the bed. I told her smooth was not descriptive of the bed linens. The second room had a smooth bed. However the bathroom was filthy. The floor was not mopped and the lower part of the toilet was not clean. My daughter and I went to Walmart for Lysol and cleaning supplies. The WiFi advertised was non-existent. The staff told me that it was not working because it was raining! Had I not paid in advance I would have left and found a new hotel. Thank goodness for Lysol and WalMart! I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

price and location was good for just an overnight stay. rooms were open to parking lot,not enclosed with a hallway. room was clean and bed was comfortable. would return for an overnighter again. for the price, worth staying at for the night when traveling

Beautiful hotel, wonderful location (loved that it was off the beaten path) with very nice, clean and comfortable rooms. The service was exceptionally superior, friendly and helpful. If you want or need wireless internet, stay somewhere else. Too many steps, too difficult to log in, when all other hotels we've stayed you simply boot up your lap top and there it is.

Good value for price point. Nice staff. Decent rooms.

We were glad that this hotel allowed dogs; however, the rooms are small and dark. The breakfast is adequate with a lovely eating area.

Traveling from Georgia to Indiana for the birth of our 8th grandchild we hesitated to stay at this property due to no comments. We were plesantly surprised and knew we had to write the first comments. The room was spotless, wonderful bedding and towels. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We did not use the pool and left before the breakfast was served. However, we are actually driving a extra hour back just to stay at this wonderful property. We Highly recommend this property, the nicest we have ever stayed that is pet friendly. Ray and Mary Jane McDevitt, Georgia
