Average hotel at an average price
We visited Georgetown for a Horsey Hundred bike ride. We wanted to make this trip as economical as possible so our price point was rather low on this trip. That's why we shopped around on-line for an affordable hotel and stumbled upon Red Roof's offer, which was just at $75 per night, and booked it. In short, the hotel was exactly what you would expect for that price... decent conditions, but no frills and no breakfast. If we paid anything more than $75/night I would have been a bit disappointed. If we had paid anything less, I would have thought we got a great deal. I would recommend it to you if have similar budgetary constraints.

Get what you pay for
I was needing a cheap room for one night and I got it. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was nice. Nothing exciting but I would stay again if I needed to.

Just the Basics
We were just looking for an economical place to sleep. It was just as we expected, clean with no "extras". Staff was pleasant . Best part was convenience to everything else we wanted our needed....Kentucky Horse Park, etc.

If you're in Lexington in the spring and fall, stop by Keeneland for a horse race. Tailgating there is fun, and you can place bets for as low as $0.10.

Kentucky trip.
It was clean and close to the Interstate which is what we were looking for. 3 miles from Rupp arena, another good thing. I should have brought my own pillow though.

Nice place and good price.
I came to Lexington, KY for a wedding, and this place was close and pretty nice for the price. If I was to go back I would consider this hotel again for sure.

The not so nice....
We had made plans to meet with other family members at the hotel. [...] Not the nicest receptionist we've ever encountered. The hotel had done some updating since we were there last and was is better condition. I still wouldn't recommend this place unless you are just passing through like we were.
