We needed a clean, inexpensive motel on our trip from Iowa to South Carolina. We were so impressed with this Microtel Inn, we stayed at another in Jackson, Tennessee later in the week (it was not as good).

Not up to other Micotels
This Microtel had the same room layout and comfortable bed as others I have stayed in but wasn't as squeaky clean as others and the neighborhood was kind of seedy. It was an excellent value, but I wouldn't stay there again. Internet wireless reception was weak and slow and even the TV turned on sluggishly.

Fine For Overnight
Certainly not a destination, but more than adequate for a inexpensive, clean, decent location for a nights stay.

High End Eating at Malones. Best Steak around with service above and beyond normal.

Good stay
This is our first stay at a Microtel. It's more comfy than what I expected. I only expected something barebone so I am pleasantly surprise with the room. I especially like padded futon next to the windows. A very good stay for us.

This was the only time with a minor issue, we stayed 2 nights and housekeeping emptied the trash, brought in 2 towels, but never made the bed. Since it was not a dealbreaker we did not complain, I think it was just an oversight.

will stay again next month
Slight odor to the lobby and 1st floor, second level non-smoking area was fine. The breakfast area was a little to be desired as well as the selection. The vending machines didn't work properly and money was refunded immediately. For what we need and the price we paid the room has been reserved for us again next month. We have told a few friends about it as well.

Really enjoyed my stay in Lexington, KY!
The Microtel in Lexington, KY might be one of the cheapest motels in town, but the service certainly wasn't. We were treated by courteous, helpful staff. We needed a small refridgerator for diabetic medication and a room with one was found right away. We asked for extra linen, and that was provided as well. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the continental breakfast was yummy! Maybe there wasn't a pool or spa and the location is some distance from downtown. But for a place to rest and relax after a busy day, it was perfect!

Microtel--Lexington
Staff was friendly. Room was as expected for the price. Bed was a little uncomfortable.But we were only there overnight, so it worked out well for us. Great food and shopping within just a few minutes driving distance. Really liked the area it was in.

Good value for price!
We were in town to visit the Lexington/Versailles area while on vacation. It was close to most to what we wanted to see.

Rude awakening
Micro features
I have never stayed at a Microtel and will never stay there again. The rooms didn't have a microwave or frig which meant more money spent on food. There was a Wal-mart close by but the Waffle house became my breakfast lunch and dinner! The bed was (old)not to comfy either.
