Bluegrass Extended Stay

My boyfriend came down to visit me and my family. He said he loved the hotel; it was the best experience he had a place like this. The price was very good and the room was clean. Overall, the stay was great.

Spent the weekend here; very pleasant; good location; friendly staff.

Everything was fine, This is bull... I already filled one out

The price is low and everything works. The place, though, is old. The plumbing can be a bit noisy when you first turn it on. Since it is an extended stay, getting the room serviced is not necessarily daily. The location is just about perfect for what we needed.

Outlets would not hold a plug and had to get adapter for it to work. The toilet was sitting way too low and at night I started seeing bugs which I will say were water bugs cause I don't want to go there. The curtains were torn and when I called the front desk they didn't know anything about anything and would not allow me to change rooms. It was cheaper than other places but paying a little more for a better space, especially with a one year old, is worth it.

We were in town for a couple of days and selected the Bluegrass Extended Stay based on the location and owner description. It also happened to be the least expensive option of the 4 hotels we were considering, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately our hotel room was not as newly renovated as the owner's description made it out to be, specifically the bathroom. The shower tub "looked" filthy, so when my wife try to scrub it clean it actually made no difference. It appeared to be permanently stained. I found it odd that they cutout a 2 inch hole for the 1 inch shower head supply line, so it looks like a hack job. The remainder of the bathroom had cracked floor moldings, chipped floor pieces, and a door you couldn't close. As far as the sleeping area, our mattresses were uncomfortable and felt worn out. One of the pillow cases had a cigarette burn hole and there was hair on the bed sheets when we pulled them back. Not very inviting. Needless to say we did not sleep well any of the nights. There were some pluses, however. The shower had plenty of hot water with a high water flow. It felt good. The room was quiet and we heard no other visitors or traffic from the road, though we were on the "Lowes" side of the property. The frig with huge, clean, and cold and the room offered a nice, new ironing board and iron. There was a hair dryer and coffee maker too, which looked to be in good condition, but we never used. The air conditioning worked great too. Though I didn't sleep well, I also didn't burn a hole in my pocket either as other area hotels charged much more.

It was overall a good one

The non smoking room stank of smoke, there was urine on the toilet seat and hair covering the bathroom door. That is just the start of it.

room was very nice for the money and in a very good location. just 4 miles from UK. had everything i needed! definately recommended for someone on a bugdet that dont want to stay in a cheap dirty hotel! this one was cheap, but not dirty!

If you want a hotel that is a good price and is in a good location this is the hotel for you. The hotel room was clean and the beds comfortable. The walls were thin but the sound of the AC/heat covered most of the outside sounds. If you are choosing this place because it is an extended stay then you should stay someplace else. The only difference between this room and a normal hotel room about the same price was that it had a full refrigerator as oppose to a half refrigerator. There were cupboards but nothing in them and no place but the bathroom sink to wash anything (no dish soap provided). The cupboards and counter space took up the spot where the suitcase usually would go (they did have drawers to place your clothes in if you wanted to). I ended putting my suitcase on the other bed since I didn't want to unpack and repack it. I think that calling this place "Extended Stay" is a very big stretch.
