Fairly priced, clean and well located.
I was in Georgetown on business. This location is well situated to all the highways, bi-ways and something called a by-pass. Room was clean, all things worked, staff was friendly and helpful and oh yeah, there was a tornado while I was there and they made me feel safe.

Couple of very nice restaurants in the immediate area. Try O'Charleys in the same center as the Walmart. Isn't everything located in a Walmart Shopping Center now?

Alright
Room was smaller than expected and there were some general upkeep issues (curling wallpaper seam, discolored shower handle). Considering I was just passing through, it served the purpose. However, not sure I would go with this chain again.

Dissatisfied Traveler
Not happy with Hotel[...]
It was not that clean, very noisey in the halls. I complained to the front desk, nothing was done. Also, early am 6 ish heard the maid service being loud, lots of loud talking in the hall. Not happy[...]

Experienced traveller on Christmas break
Good value
Stayed at the hotel over Christmas while visiting family. I'm an experienced traveller and this hotel is very basic. The entire hotel was non smoking but the smell of smoke was everywhere. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. Our room was down a hall with a convenient access to the outside but the lock did not work from the outside. Telling the staff they just shrugged and said that it sometimes does not work. We will select a different hotel in Georgetown next time we visit.

Too bad it wasn't Lexington
the hotel was ok. it could have been better. my husband made the arrangements and for reasons unknown he did not make the reservation for Lexington. how did I know that 10 minutes out of town it would be VERY DARK. I did try to change the reservation to the another Microtel in Lexington, but got no cooperation.

If you need a hotel in Lexington don't go to this Microtel, it may be only 13 miles away on the may but you may not like the drive at night.

Ok, but...
When we checked in, the desk staff was not very friendly. We asked for a non smoking room, but the room smelled of smoke, especially the towels and sheets.

Best $65 room for a traveling couple !!
Traveling back from taking mom to FL. We are a couple, 50+. Stopped at antique shops as we traveled and bought a rack of "real smokey" ribs in Georgetown, KY. It was great to be able to warm up our own special dinner instead of going out !!! Relaxing way to travel !!

In Hotel
Bring your own. Pick up something special on the way that you can't normally get at home. For us yankees, its great smoked food, etc.
