A bit tired. The price was ok but the room wasn't really comfortable. Grabbed 5hrs sleep and a shower (good... plenty of hot water) and hit the bricks.

Great place to stay...
I really enjoyed all aspects of my three night stay at
Knight's Inn in Franklin. It was easy to find, and very
convenient to misc. locations being so close to the
interstate. Very clean and quiet, even with my room
being adjacent to the lobby. The
breakfast was good, with milk, juice, and coffee fresh. I would
suggest adding artificial sweetner for the coffee.

Not very impressed.
First of all, I would like to say that the owners were nice and did allow us to check in early (we drove over 7 hours overnight and had 2 young babies with us), which was great. The hotel didn't look too skeezy on first impression. However, we
had a washcloth that looked like it had a lipstick mark, and there were pest traps in the corner- ack! There were no elevators to the 2nd floor so if you are handicapped or are 2 moms with young babies and a ton of baggage to bring up, this might be a bad idea. Blankets were rough and poor quality (not the usual fuzzy hotel blankets), and there weren't even fitted sheets on the bed, just flat sheets and a bad mattress pad. It seems that one family runs the hotel, and that's it- they act as cleaning staff, management, etc.
I would rather have paid a bit more to stay somewhere nicer. It wasn't downright horrible but not my first choice. If I ever find myself back in KY I won't be staying here.

Franklin is kind of cute if you like antiques and charming small-town shops.

Knights Inn Franklin
Nice people at the desk. The hallway stank of cigarettes in the non-smoking section. TV remote didn't work. The lamp switch was broken. Everything else was fine. I'd do it again only as a last resort tho.

Just average!
Had a heck of a time finding this location. It seems that it recently changed its name and no longer is a Knights Inn. I went past it several times before spying a partially obscured sign that indicated it's former name. Check in was a bit of a
challenge in that the clerk was not well versed in English [...]. Thankfully the room was clean. Also, a continental breakfast is promised but when I checked out at 6AM nothing was served so I gave up and left. For a few dollars more the Days Inn is a much better choice.
