the room was clean, the pillows fluffy. was more than I expected for the price. Many local restaurants and shops, including a Wal-Mart for any last minute necessities. Planning to stay here next year for the Derby as well.

Picked up Daughter from College Nothing to do at the hotel Never stayed at Days Inn before, not sure it would be my first choice the next time around, the chain I stayed was full. The room was clean, sheets were fresh smelling, old bathroom tiles dark and dingy looking. The outside doors to the rooms needed some paint. The reception area had a stale odor and wreaked of smoke. However it beats sleeping in the car.

Was supposed to be in a non-smoking room. The room reeked of smoke terribly. I had to wash all the clothes I brought that I never even put on because they stunk so bad. Continental breakfast is extremely limited.

rooms marginal...ask for non smoking and the room smelled of smoke and there were 3 ashtrays! Nice, quick breakfast.

We arrived at midnight and were greeted by a surly man at the front desk who barely spoke and seemed to be annoyed at our presence. I told him we'd reserved a non-smoking room (which we did) and he said gruffly, "We don't have a non-smoking room." That was all he said until he handed me the room key. We opened the room to the overwhelming smell of cigarettes. The carpet was stained and felt dirty on our feet. In all, a very unpleasant evening. It got better in the morning as the early staff were far more accommodating, but the damage had already been done.

Days Inn Frankfort
Rooms ok--they forgot to make it up and chnge towels between our two nights but did it quickly when I got back in the evening and called desk. Upstairs outside hall to rooms felt a little unsafe. Rooms ok and pool great. People friendly and courteous. Very efficient check in and out.

I liked this place
Room was clean & comfortable. Staff was average (not rude nor very friendly). It included a decent little breakfast (waffle iron, cereal, donuts, bagels, juice, coffee) & the pool was small but well tended. The only problem I had was that there was not much parking for the annex I was in & you had to park either way on the side or the other side of the building. But it wasn't that bad - I just prefer to be able to view my car if I look out a small motel window. [...] It was all fine, however & I give this Day's Inn a thumbs up. Inexpensive, clean & very close to any of the business areas of Frankfort - great for a traveler on a budget or a corporate person.

This motel is on 127 near the Interstate & is very close to a whole slew of restaurant chains & the usual retail shops (e.g. Walmart, Kmart, Lowes, Catos, etc...)
