Bluegrass Inn

Bath tub dirty, smells bad, horible pillows, horrible coffe, hair dryer didn't work, and the bed WAS NOT a queen size even the the receptionist assured me that it was.

The staff was very friendly and informative and went the extra mile. The room was clean and what you would expect from a hotel room at that rate. The Cable wasn't working but I didn't complain to the front desk since I was mainly there to sleep (not watch TV). As I was washing my hands one of the plastic light covers fell off and covered the sink. I placed it back in its holder. As far as I could tell there was no elevator so lugging my suitcase up the narrow metal stairs was a pain. However the beds were comfortable, the room was a great price, I liked the location, and the staff was very friendly.

My family had to travel to Frankfort unexpectedly. We arrived late and tired and were pleased to find everything so clean and convenient. The rooms were well equipped, the grounds well lit and neat, and the staff was efficient and friendly. An all around good experience.

Room's furniture was well worn, one lamp didn't work, and TV reception was horrible. This motel appears to cater to labors that sat outside their rooms in motel chairs and walked back and forth between rooms to visit. Single women would not feel safe at this motel. Bathroom was okay as was the bed. All though I never felt threatened, I'm not staying here again.

We enjoyed a quiet and peaceful night. Was glad the air was in good working order because of the extreme heat.

We only wanted a place to sleep and rest between daytime visits with relatives. The room was quiet and cool and the beds were comfortable. We watched TV, and I enjoyed the free high speed wireless internet service. The only negative portion of our stay was the continental breakfast. The donuts and rolls were stale.

I traveled to work in Frankfort KY.

I stayed here overnight on a road trip. It was convenient to the highway, had shops and grocery store a mile up the road. Love the free in room wifi. Pet-friendly - with a fee. The staff were nice and friendly, the pool looked refreshing, but it's exposed to the main road. Room was clean and fair sized, AC worked well.

I stayed at the Bluegrass Inn because it was a cheap price and close to my meeting. However, I don't plan to stay there again. My room must have had NO sound insulation. I could hear everything - people passing on the sidewalk, neighbors talking in the next room, banging upstairs and cars on the street out front. The bathroom smelled musty and the shower was moldy. Black mold grew up the wall in each corner and across the top and bottom of the shower stall. Also, the cable wasn't working. When I called the desk, the manager said he would call the cable company. I only stayed one night, so I don't know if it was fixed or not. On the other hand, check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly.

Ate at nearby restaurant and slept. Just stopped for the night to rest before continuing on with our trip.
