Basic accommodations near Cincinnati with free breakfast
Super 8 Florence in Florence, Kentucky, is a convenient stop with easy access to Cincinnati and the nearby airport. Parking lot provides plentiful space for trucks, buses, and RVs. The accommodations are basic, with a few amenities including as free Wi-Fi and free breakfast. Pets are welcome.

BAD ROOM
Nothing seemed to work from the lights to the tv. I had to call maintenance for light bulbs and for help getting the tv to work and the lights. I asked the housekeeper for new towels on my second day. I never got them. The room overall needed work from the carpeting to the old ripped box spring and there were cigarette burns in the blankets. That whole room needs to be overhauled.

Not the place to stay
The room was not cleaned well. Air conditioning unit was loud and provided little relief from the hot weather. The clock/radio was missing. The TV remote was hard to use and had no information on channels. The pool was nice. The breakfast was okay. I shared these concerns with the management with little response other than someone must have taken the clock/radio from room.

Not good.
We were attending the Nascar Sprint Cup race in Sparta, Ky. When we got to our room, the door was part way open. We had checked in earlier in the day, but the room was not ready as we were early, but we still received our keys, The lights did not work. WE were finally able to get the bathroom light to work and after 30 minutes of messing with the light by the TV, we were able to get that light on, no others worked. There were no bath towels and when we called the desk, she apologized and asked us to come get them. We went to put our water in the refrigerator, but it did not work. The bed was lumpy and the pillow cases had some stains on them. For $110.00, I was not happy at all, in fact, I was almost ready to leave to drive back to Wilmington,Ohio even though we had been stuck in traffic.

Worst Stay of My Life
We arrived at the Hotel to be told there were no non-smoking rooms available. I have respiratory problems and had expressly requested non-smoking. I had to leave at 3 AM as I could no longer stand being in the room due to tightness in my chest. I booked these rooms in January. This is May. The two rooms were not located near each other. One on ground floor, one on second. Not one chair in the room to sit in. Trash and garbage was piled in the stairwells. We were told by the attendant at check-in that we should never book with [...].

accommodating staff average rooms
our first room had broken AC, no hair dryer and no towel rack.... next room was nicer but the refrigerator and phone didn't work, but those problems were quickly resolved by a friendly and accommodating staff. We were in town for a funeral so really only needed a place to shower and shave, if you're looking for practical this place is ok, if you want a little luxury.... look elsewhere.
