Motel 6 Cincinnati South Florence, KY

I think you know what you're getting if you're booking a Motel 6. Bare bones accommodations at a discount rate. That pretty much describes this. Room was livable as a nightly flop house. The biggest problem with this particular stay was that there were a lot of kids and younger people using the pool area and because the walls and ceilings are kind of thin, you heard constant noise until about 10 or 11 pm. The area in Florence surrounding actually has a surprising number of good small off the beaten path restaurants that are great (in addition to the typical chain places).

Hotel staff was friendly.....BUT....the rooms are run down, the quilts have burn holes in them and the blankets are worn severly. Sheets didn't fit the bed. We just needed a place for one night after the Nascar Race. It did provide a roof over our heads and a shower....nothing more.

Very disappointed in this hotel. You walk into the main lobby and there in the middle of the check in counter is an ice bucket catching water from a leak in the ceiling. Then we got into our room, and the bottom panel of the bathroom door was separating from the rest of the door. The comforters had burn holes in them. The tv channels would go in and out. The light on the phone would not stop blinking. You had to stick your hand right next to the vent to even feel the A/C blowing, and that was with the blower on HIGH. The only good part was the hotel's location. Multiple places to eat where merely a walk across the street, and shopping was only minutes away. But overall it was just a very poor hotel experience.

We were driving from GA to OH and we were going to need to stop just to sleep; our arrival time was 2AM. We called to confirm our arrival time so our room would not be given away. The room was decent and affordable. It was close to food, gas stations, and the interstate. Some other guests were on the balcony drinking and smoking when we arrived at 2AM. Pillows and bed could have been better and glad the A/C worked.

i will never stay there because it is not a clean motel an the air conditioner didnt work so i got my money back an ended up sleeping in my truck because there was no rooms anywhere do to the nascar race, very nasty had pee on toilet, cough drop in floor.,blanket full of wholes, just trouble,

The room was rather clean and the neighborhood isn't too bad. The rooms are very basic. Mine didn't have a clock. This motel shows that a low cost room need not be dirty or in a scary neighborhood.

Centrally located, lots of food places around, near entrance and exit ramps to highway. The room was bare minimum but very clean (worn a little). It was exactly what we were looking for and a great price.

We had a non-smoking room that smelled like an ashtray. They had to turn the air on for us and it never did get cool in the room. We asked for extra pillows and was told there were none to be found. The bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. We ended up checking out a day earlier than planned because of the room.

My friend and I had to be moved from two different rooms because the first one smelled like cigarettes and the second one smelled like a port-a-potty. Worst place I've ever stayed. Never again. I hate "Florence, Ya'll"

I had gone with my Boyfriend just to get a night away just us. I was not told prior to showing up that the check-in had to be for a person 21+yrs I personally am 20yrs my Boyfriend 21yrs had to work prior to meeting me at the room. I was told although the reservation and payment were in my name that they wouldn't allow me to get my room until he showed up. I tried to explain I was not informed of the age requirement the woman stated I would have to wait until he could check in at 11pm so I paid for a room only used for 8hrs instead of 13hrs. Would have been nice if it was posted the age requirements for checking in.
