Knights Inn Florence/Cincinnati South

Our reservations were made two months prior. When we checked in we were told there wasn't a room available. We then showed a print out of our reservations. They found a room which was dirty. When we turned back the ruffled bedding we found a pair of dirty socks and a TV remote. It looked like occupants who had slept there for some time just vacated! We were taken to a second room which was also dirty and had a terrible odor! We left the Knights Inn for some other Knights: we are trying to get our card credited. W. Cook

[...]made us pay 35 dollars to acess our stuff to get in our room!!! 7 days thru them was 189.00! They didnt clean our room once and we had to ask for the room ammenities that were suppose to come with our package. they acted dumb and refused to refund our money and now we have a voucher for only 30 dollars. if we were poor and didnt have funds we would have been locked out without our stuff. the cops were next door and it looked like a drug bug infested place. the matresses were covered with plastic and it was utterly a horrible expierience!!!

I'll not stay at this hotel again or at any other Knights Inn do to this experence. A hotel with a two star rating should meet the two star requirements. I now am suspicous of the star rating system which we all use to choose a future reservation, and will not fill comfortable obligating myself sight unseen in the future.

The front door didn't lock, the carpet was damp/wet in most areas, the room was very musty, the shower curtain was moldy, the tub was dirty and two of the lights didn't work! I will glady pay more money for a better hotel next time-instead of being so cheap this time! Not pleased at all with the Knights Inn in Florence, Ky. I would not recommend to anyone-no matter what the time frame in that city.

WOW, Where Can I Start? The Guy At The Desk/Owner, Makes You "Knights Inn" [...] Look REAL BAD! This Place Is BAD News. Got Our Room & Had To Deal w/Others That "live" In This Place. [*] The People That "Live There Need To Be Away From Other Guests. They Had A Group From Tenn. In There That Just Ruined Our Stay, Thank GOD We Don't Have Kids & We Were There For Newport Not Florence KY!! The Lady next Door For 3 Days Used The Upper Latch/Lock As A Door Stop/Hold Open Latch, In & Out Of The Room Every 2-3 min, Day & Night [*] Some Other Guy Drinking at 6am till 6am, [*] Our Microwave Almost Caught Fire, Very Dusty, Dirty Inside. The Pool Was The ONLY Thing Good Here! The Cops Came After A Few Calls The Last Night Before We Left For Home & Took A Few In [...]. Now I Know You Can't Control Every Place That Has Your Name On It, But "I" Would Be Looking Into It If You Want Your Name To Stay "Clean". We Have Stayed In Other Knights Inn's In Other Places & Have Never Had This Before. I Spent $125+ for Three Nights & Now I Know Why It Was So Cheap, It's The Only Way They Will Get (New)People To Stay There. [...]

The worse place I ever stayed. Everything I touched fell apart (towel rack, backboard on bed). Most of the lights didn't work. It was absolutely the worse experience I have ever had in a hotel.

The bed was like sleeping on cardboard - lumpy bumpy and hard. It is the worst hotel experience Ihave had in many years - 2 stars for this hotel is a joke!

Not well kept. Paint peeling off bathroom door, large gap at bottome of entrance door - we had to tuck bedspread under door to keep bugs out. Musty smelling.

The rooms were not clean, couldn't get extra pillows, ice machine constantly was broken down, the matress on the bed was so old it had a sway in the middle. The pool area was small, but there were enough lounge chairs - never got in the pool, but it did appear to be clean.
