terrible

The front desk was terribly rude, the bathtub was disgusting. We ended up leavng a day early and they told us they would not refund our money for that day because we got a deeply discounted rate, 15%. I do not recommend this hotel.

Super 8 not so super

The advertised "HOT" breakfast was a choice between white or wheat toast & oatmeal. thats it. I also had read that if i was a AAA member I could get an additional discount once i checked in. I tried this & was told that the [...]price already included the AAA discount? strange since [...]never asked if i was a member. I asked the clerk if that meant if i didnt have my card with me that my room price would have then gone up? he said "no". this didnt make any sense & I think that will be the last time i stay @ a Super 8. The room was a normal room except for the fact that the carpet felt wet??

Great for the price

This hotel was perfect for our one night stay in Cave City. The room was clean, the kids loved the outdoor pool and it was close to all the Cave City attractions. The room also had wi-fi plus a refridgerator and microwave. To top it all off we got a free continental breakfast before heading to the caves. It was much more than I expected for the price!

Great stay

Overall we enjoyed the stay! We decided on this hotel because of the price. It seemed to be a good value. We were looking for a hotel with microwave and fridge in the rooms and also included breakfast. The staff were also very polite and helpful. When looking for a place to eat dinner the lady at the front desk didn't hesitate when should recommended the Watermill to us and boy was she right! Thanks you Super 8 for a great stay!

Not fancy but clean and cheap

At $50 a night our expectations were not very high and we were pleased with our stay. The room was a little tired but clean. A mini refrigerator and microwave are a must when we travel with our child and this motel had them in fine working order. The breakfast wasn't fancy but the coffee was fresh and hot and the donuts and bagels were good. The folks running the hotel were very friendly. We visited Mammoth Cave National Park which was very impressive. This was a pitstop trip for us driving from FL to Chicago and it was fun.

Definitely visit Mammoth Cave National Park. Kids can become junior rangers by completing activities. They then receive a junior ranger badge and certificate.

Weird but OK

I guess this place is OK. Nice that they have a fridge (fairly big) and microwave in the room, and the wifi works well. I found my room rather strange. The bathroom was HUGE. Fixtures seemed to work OK but a lot of stuff was coming off the wall, seemed in disrepair. The room was pretty clean. Cleaning service banging on the door at 9 am not appreciated! Front desk staff a little grumpy and not very helpful. The place felt safe though and was comfortable for a night's stay. Very convenient to highway. Free breakfast had a wide array of unhealthy stuff, plus some rather sick-looking apples and oranges. I think the place is a little bit overpriced for what it is, considering they don't have a fitness room or anything and it's too cold to swim in the outdoor pool.

Making happy memories!!!

The room was what we expected, clean bathroom, clean comfortable beds, needed more towels, and carpeting needed a good extraction but understand the difficulty to keep clean due to the number of people in and out. The pool needed more attention there again is understandable with the swimming load in the pool daily. I have a pool and know with these high volumns of swimmers alot more chlorine is required. But pool location was great good shade and tables were available. The breakfast was what was expected, and good however a larger eating area would have been nice. We stood up to eat our breakfast and really wasn't late about getting in there, around 7:30 or so. But not enough room for the amount of people staying.
