Modern hotel and very clean. Staff was easy to work with and very friendly

Room was clean, small but comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure everything was great. Overall, very pleased and the price was great. Location was fantastic.

Each year when I go to Kentucky for a family reunion I stay at Microtel. I have always found it to be clean and the staff (especially the room service) is great! I would like to see hot foods available for the breakfast. Lord willing I'll see you all again next year!

For the money the room was ok, probably priced right at your discount rate. Very poor ammenities, didn't include the usual motel/hotel stuff and the advertised breakfast was so, so. . But, I did appreciate the low price, clean room and excellent staff.

I booked this hotel due to the ratings on it. I will never do this again. The average ratings was 3.7 out 5..........How they got this I don't know. The room was extremly small, the carpet was nasty,there was an aweful smell in the hallway. We booked two nights which was non refundable and we only stayed one night! The staff was nice but just from the looks of the hotel when you walk in we did not even eat the breakfast that was provided the next morning. I advise you to spend a little extra money and get something worth staying in. I will never stay in another Microtel again!!!!

We were very surprised and pleased with the Microtel! The room was very nice, staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location and great low price! Very nice!

This was a great overnight stay. They were in the the middle of renovation, but it wasn't messy or in the way. The rooms were very clean and neat! We were very pleased.

Located very close to highway. Quick check-in (<3 minutes). Newly remodeled rooms. Small rooms but more than adequate for short stay. Limited breakfast selection- cereal, muffins, bagels, milk, juice.

My daughter is in the process of re-locating to BG. We went up there to find her an apartment and once again, to look around and get familiar with the area. The reviews for this hotel were "2 stars," but after being there for several days, I'd change it to 4. The beds were very comfortable; the shower head (water pressure) was great; the room was clean and well maintained. Three of us had plenty of space. And, in the morning we had coffee and bagels. The front desk staff were always friendly and courteous. In October, 2010 we had stayed at several of the area hotels for around $100 night. The benefits of those hotels were no different than those we received at the Microtel. And the Microtel hotel was much cheaper and gave us discounts for staying at least 3 nights.
