Country Hearth Inn Bowling Green

We visited the Corvette Museum while we were there. This hotel was below my standards. Our room had a hole in the wall and the bathroom was very small. The sheets had a couple of stains as well. There was no refrigerator and microwave and for the $68 bucks we paid I expected that. I am glad that we only stayed one night.

Went to pick up my vette at Bowling Green. Asked the clerk to move my room from back to front so I could watch the parking space from my room. Said that because it was after 5 he could not. There were only a few people there. So the hotel looked 10% full. Said I could park up front by the door. This was ok, but why couldn't they just move the room?

The location was really bad. I had to take a taxi wherever I went.

The room was sufficient for the time we stayed (which was one night). The soap they had in the rooms would not have washed a baby doll. It was a good thing we brought our own soap. They also didn't have the air on in the hallways and it was really stuffy in the halls. The air worked well in the rooms.

The room was very nice. There was a crack in the ceiling though. The fitted sheet on the bed kept coming off, perhaps it wasn't big enough. We spent a lot of the time in the hot tub and the television could be seen in there and also at the bed, which is excellent. I enjoyed the stay there.

Let me just begin by saying, I'm not a complainer. I've stayed at some hotels that were less than average but this place was unacceptable! When we arrived at the hotel it was so hot in there I thought i would suffocate. We get into our room, a jucuzzi suite, and I was suprised to say the least. The a/c was really hard to get turned on, the ceiling was cracked, I mean HUGE gaps were hanging down over the jacuzzi, and half the light bulbs were burned out. My husbang decided to get in the jacuzzi anyway, I layed down on the bed. I turned to the side to look at the TV and there was something on the comforter, it was GROSS!!! It looked like a bodily function may have been performed there. I decided to just take off the comforter and use the bottom two covers. All night long we could hear people above us, probably due to the huge gaping spots in the ceiling. We get up the next morning and while i'm getting ready to leave it sounds like someone is pouring water, just then my husband jumps up and says OMG there's water pouring out of the ceiling, and there was! Right into my purse that was sitting on the bar!!! My husband went to get the desk attendant and it took him forever to get someone. Then the guy was like I'll check it out after yall leave...... So at checkout once again i mention the rainstorm in our room and he STILL charged us full price! It was ridiculous! I will NOT stay there ever again nor will i refer any friends or family there.

Our stay was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly. The hotel rooms were very clean.

We had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door until about 9:30am, which we removed when we left the room. When we returned to the hotel at 9pm, no one had bothered to clean the room. Not the kind of service I would have hoped for!

Our one-night stay at this motel was very unpleasant. The motel was inconvenient to any dining area and required traveling more than 10 miles to a restaurant. There was no food or beverages available at the location. They also did not have ice machines at the facility, though they had ice trays with cubes in room refrigerator that we were reluctant to use due to their appearance. There were a number of bugs crawling on the floor and flying in the room. Though we stayed in a no-smoking room, it had the distinct odor of having been a smoking area. Both the bedspreads had pronounced cigarette burn holes in them and there was an ash tray on the night stand. The room was extremely hot when we arrived, and cooled somewhat only after very noisy air conditioner ran for a number of hours. All in all, we were very disappointed..and felt very uneasy and unsafe being there.
