Studio Plus Deluxe Studios - Wichita - East

Clean and friendly but we were given smoking instead of requested non-smoking room, which they then switched for us. Complaint: pool only opens at 10 am, so useless for morning workouts in terrible Wichita heat. Then one day they did not bother to even open it till NOON, because someone forgot to test and put in chlorine. That day they would not even compensate for pool closure during stated opening hours by letting us us in the pool area to get a reclining chair out for sunbathing, since we could not swim. Very mean-spirited.

The hotel was nice overall. The room was alot smaller than I expected. The tv was very small, it was on a pedestal and looked very awkward in the room. I was on the first floor and the second night there was soo much noise. The police were there in the earling morning hours. When I checked out in the morning, the police were there because apparently someone stole things from the front desk and vandalized some things, so did not sleep well the second night there.

The vinly floors in the bathroom and kitchen were sticky and visibly dirty. I doubt they had been mopped in months! The carpets were also sticky and dirty. The online photos don't tell the entire story. If you do stay here, make sure to inspect the room before you agree to stay.

First room was uninhabitable; toilet leaking & floors filthy. 2nd room much better. Rooms were stocked differently. Refrigerator too noisy as was outside since postal trucks pulled up hourly to unload. Staff was friendly and helpful. SE location easy to access.

Very friendly, helpful and attractive office personnel. It was obviously an older property but very well maintained, clean and neat. The shower water pressure is critical for me; this was excellent. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The TV was a bit small, by today's standards; but that wasn't that big a deal. I'd go back here again and recommend it to anyone headed to the Wichita area.
