Hyatt Regency Wichita

Let me start with the restaurant staff that was absolutely fabulous for breakfast! Every person working there was friendly, real and remembered us each day! The front desk staff was very average; for a four star hotel, I was expecting a more professional staff at the front desk, providing excellent service. That did not happen! The bar staff was very inexperienced and not very welcoming. We were here on two different occasions and did not feel like stayling for a second drink, which we would have done. Overall, we would stay there again but realizing it is not a four star hotel.

Easy parking. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room Service was timely and food was good. Not to mention, they were perfectly happy to cook my eggs a different way after I had already received them. Lovely views of the river and the stadium from my room.

We went to Wichita for a wedding. We were running late getting into town. Hyatt staff was amazing! They provided us with toiletries we had left at home gre of charge. View was amazing from our room, [...]

The hotel was GREAT! Nice staff and a clean room, what else can you ask for! The only problem we had was that we stayed during a night full of events....very noisy all night long. From working in hotels in the past I know you can't really judge a hotel by the inapropriate guests that stay there! Thanks Hyatt Wichta, you were all very kind!

This was a nice location, pretty quiet, nice clean room-very friendly people. The restaurant doesn't have a very kid-friendly menu, better for adults, nice. The thing I don't understand is that a thumping disco track played noticably in the pool and public restroom areas-really annoying after awhile, unmistakeably intended to keep you moving along quickly. Plus we got an "invitation" under our door to please check out early since they had a big crowd coming in and they wanted to get busy on their house keeping(and that matters to me why again???) The pool atmosphere has enough chemical to make your eyes water-but my son enjoyed it anyway-good pool for the kids. Covered parking garage @ 8.00 per nt. (located far end, not quick to get to), elevators, exterior doors-all required a keycard swipe in order to operate-very annoying to get used to, especially the elevator that wouldn't operate unless you had your key in your hand, swiped it onto a specific spot on the elevator controls and then punched in your floor. I appreciate security, but really..... Don't lose your room key, you won't be able to go anywhere!!!

The check in clerk was not very helpful and did not have a reason we did not get the room we booked.

We booked an executive corner suite overlooking the river and expected a great experience staying at the Hyatt Regency. Check in time was supposed to be 3:00pm. We arrived at 4:00pm but didn't get into a room until 5:45pm. Great view, clean room but disappointed with the delayed check-in.

Just what you would expect from a Hyatt...very nice hotel with nice rooms. Staff was friendly but not extremely outgoing. Location was great, right along the riverwalk. Check in and check out was easy, no hassles. Not the nicest Hyatt I have stayed in, but still good.
