Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites WICHITA DWTN-CONVENTION CENTER

The hotel is located near downtown and attractions as well as Old Town. Great if you have clients around town and you want something close to an entertainment center. Easy on and off the main freeway. Hotel was clean and quiet...could have used more towels but other than that was a nice value.

Waited for over an hour at the airport to be picked up by the hotel shuttle. Not good One day they forgot to clean my room, all the cleaning staff had left, so all they could do was bring fresh towels. They did give me free breakfasts and drinks for the remainder of my stay

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs. It was just a couple of minutes away from our granddaughter's home, and everything was very close by. The only thing we didn't care for was the bathroon area. We perfer that bathroom be all in one roon. The sink and vanity area was separate from the toilet and bath. We like that to be all in one room for privacy and for things such as blow drying your hair, so as not to disturb someone who may be sleeping or watching tv. We plan to stay here again in the very near future.

after staying at KOA's from most of our around the country trip, we needed a place to stay w/real beds before the long journey home to FL. Friendly staff at check in even though there was only one person to take care of airline staff (6), phone calls, waiting on fax for guest and us. Nobody to help her out and she kept apologizing.

Travelling with grown daughter to Omaha. Daughter took ill on I35 and needed emergency service and was transported by EMS to Wichita on 4/30. The hospital stay in Wichita was until 5/20. Holiday Inn was great, but [...] Holiday Inn worked with me and lowered my rate to $69 a night, thus enabling me to stay an additional ten nights at that rate. Had to transfer to another hotel because of bookings at HI, but was able to get a weekly rate somewhere else. Holiday Inn was great in responding to my emergency needs. [...]

The hotel was acceptable and adequate, but nothing spectacular. The only room was a smoking room, which smelled pretty bad. They had lots of big fluffy pillows, but no thinner pillows which are the kind that are most comfortable. The floor and the drapes had stains on them.

Very close to Century II.

I was in town for a funeral and while the hotel staff was accomodating, the hotel was not on par with other Holiday Inn's I have stayed in. The room was clean but small. The bathroom even smaller. But since I was there for one night it didn't matter much.

This was a business meeting and while the rooms are a little small they did allow us to use a table in the breakfast area for hours while we prepared for meetings the following day. Both nights the sounds of sirens (from emergency vehicles) made it difficult to stay asleep. All in all though it was a nice stay. I had been in much worse.

Very good location. close to downtown and the arena. with in walking distance. Near Gander Mountain as well.There was no free breakfastanavaliable and no near resturants so that was a hassel.
