Nice and convenient
We stayed at this hotel for the second time as it is in a convenient location. The overall cleanliness had declined compared to last time, the carpet in our room smelled really bad. The staff behind the breakfast counter was definetly overwhelmed, it took forever to just get a cup of tea!

Granite City Food & Brewery-Grilled Salmon, great beer. Scotch & Sirloin, a little drive, but will worth it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Decor, layout, rooms very attractive and clean. Would definitely stay there again, despite disappointing breakfast. Have had better free breakfasts than this one. They do have a choice of hot breakfasts cooked to order, at 8.95.

everything was great. also, I leave the bathroom light on as a night light while sleeping in hotel rooms and this one was on some kind of timer and would go off and on automatically - even went off on me while in the shower.

surprised there was no complimentary, continental breakfast - cold breakfast $6.95, hot breakfast $8.95. would be helpful to have restaurant info, menus, delivery info in room. used my GPS to view restaurants in area, then my laptop to view menus and call in a carryout dinner.

This hotel has nice amenities, clean rooms, and a great breakfast. We travel with two small children and everything was accomodating to them. The pool looked nice though we didn't use it. Breakfast offered a lot of options and was a good start to our busy day with the kids. On the downside, this is advertised as a smoke-free facility. The interior of the building did not smell like smoke but the designated smokers' area consisted of two wooden benches right outside the front doors. Every time we exited or entered the building, people were out there smoking and we had to pass through their haze with our little kids. If they simply moved the smokers' area more to the side of the building, this problem would be corrected. Also, the desk staff, while pleasant, seemed confused about handling an Orbitz reservation. I had all my paperwork in hand but still, I wasn't sure the staff did everything they were supposed to on their end. All in all, it was a good hotel for a one night stay.

We originally intended to go to the Sedgwick County ZOo but alas it rained so we went to the Kansas Exploration Place instead. That was a great place to spend a few hours with kids.

Nice Hotel, Nice Location
Clean Rooms, Nice Location, close to highway and plenty of restaurants and shopping. Everything was Very Nice, the only "bad" thing i could say was that there was a strong smell of Lemon 'Pine-sol' or something lemony in the room when we got there, had to open the window and air it out for a while. Maybe there was a little too much cleaning! Overall, a nice experience.
