BEST WESTERN PLUS Eastgate Inn & Suites

Everything was fine except the pool heater was out and we were disappointed we couldn't swim like we had planned.

The staff was virtually invisible. That can be good or bad depending on what you need. The beds were very comfortable! The main part of the room was very clean. The price was acceptable for the amenities. However...I could hear the toilet flushing and shower running in the adjacent room like I was standing under a waterfall. There were hairs in my shower upon my arrival. And the breakfast staff was making waffles for themselves and literally blowing the crumbs out of the machine with their breath. Maybe I am picky but I don't want to eat off of something someone has spit on.

The Best Western was very good. It is a pretty new property and the room was spacious with a separate swinging door on the closet. It also had a mini refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. The bathroom was very spacious. You didn't have to climb over the toilet to get into the tub like most hotel rooms. The breakfast that was included was excellent: hot and cold cereals, eggs and sausages, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, and fresh banana. And of course coffee. The only difficulty is in finding the place. While the address is clear, it is located off the service road of E. Kellogg. If you are actually on E. Kellogg, even with a GPS, you can be driving round and round, trying to figure out how to circle back to get to the hotel. Drove my GPS crazy.

this motel was a bit out of the way, about half an hour from the airiport, but convenient to the highway. The biggest surprise was that the bathroom was immaculate and in perfect condition. the breakfast was plentiful altho the danish were somewhat stale but everything else including the bagels were very fresh. there were plenty of items for a healthy breakfast. the pool was clean, internet convenient and the room was comfortable and not noisy. All in all I would reccommend it without reservation. the best we have stayed in in Wichita.

We stayed here for a night while passing through. The hotel was cheap and clean. It looked more modern, owing to the fact that the hotel is very new (within the last 2 years. The included breakfast was a nice amenity. The only downside is being in Wichita.

Have avoided Best Western's for quite a while now as they have always seemed overpriced and outdated. This one changed my mind and opinion about Best Western in a good way. My 2 girls had their own sitting area with a flat screen TV and a sofa bed. Our area had the bed and our own TV. The 2 areas were seperated by the vanity area for the bathroom so we could not even hear their TV. The pool was average size (salt water pool), nice temperature. Hot tub was nice too. Breakfast was a nice surprise-had sausage links, eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, small selection of cereal, muffins, toast-etc. Great place to stay for anyone needing a place on the east side of Wichita.

Much better than expected. I have avoided Best Western's in the past as they all seemed run down and out dated. My wife and I stayed with our 2 kids. Kids had their own area and flat screen TV with a sofa bed. Our bedroom was seperated from their area (not by a door, but far enough away that we could not hear their TV) by the vanity area for the bathroom and we also had a flat screen TV. There was a microwave and small fridge. Pool was nice (salt water pool) and so was the hot tub. Breakfast was a good surprise too. Nicely updated hotel, would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Appears to be a new facility. Large room. Good hot breakfast.

great location, right by towneast and tons of restaurants. room was very nice and clean. pool and hot tub were very nice and relaxing. breakfast buffet had a lot of selections. will come back again.
