The rooms needed renovation. Beds were clean, but the hotel was a bit run down and not well maintained. The hot tub was broken and the pool was ice cold. Not even being in it a while did it seem to warm up. We jsut froze. The next morning, the pool was "Out of Order" and closed. The kids were disappointed by the cold pool and then the closure. The breakfast was the traditional hotel breakfast, however, they had good muffins and a few hot selections (eggs and biscuits and gravy). I would not stay here again.

my stay was fantastic ,great room &brkft
As usual our experience with the staff was great,they were curteous friendly and helpful. when we travel to wichita ,my husband and I always look forward to staying at the AmericInn The hotel is right down the street from long john silvers,and also not very far from the mall ,or downtown. It is very convenient for all our needs. The pool, jacuzzi and weight room are also and added benefit.

baseball weekend to watch son
this was a older hotel and for the most part, it showed. They did do a good job of having a nice bathroom and bed with good sheets and linens. But that was the highlight. THe breakfast was bascially a full course instead of cheap items. If the bldg. was new, I would have given this a gold star.
