Adequate
Easy access to I470 & I70. Room was clean and beds comfortable, AC worked well, even with the heat & humidity of a typical Kansas summer day - the basic minimum requirements were met. Hotel was full, but we didn't really notice, so it was quiet enough. Appreciated the fridge and microwave, as well as the sink outside of the bathroom. Internet access was free, painless and fast. Stark fluorescent lighting above the beds were not very appealing when settling down. TV kind of dated, but didn't use it. Pool was small, but didn't use it either Theft-proof hangers were annoying. Front desk asked for my room number as I was leaving with a tiny, flimsy, styrofoam cup of soso coffee. It took me a few moments to realize she thought I could be stealing it from the breakfast bar - perhaps stopping in for a free cup of coffee on my way to wherever from wherever. Wow. A sad indication about the expectations of Topekans more than the rudeness of staff. And I grew up here - but didn't tell her - she then would have searched my bag, maybe frisk me...

Topeka Sleep Inn review
Check in was quick. People were friendly. Motel was full but it was extremely quiet.
