Ramada Convention Center Downtown Topeka

We were looking forward to staying at a Ramada in the family suite that has 3 queen beds. It was a great room with lots of room for the 5 of us. The hotel is right next to the highway and there was no buffering at all. The thermostat or air was broken, our room was uncomfortable to say the least. We found ourselves hanging out in the hallway to cool off. Called to have them look at it and they said everything was working fine. We come to Topeka every year for the races and we will NOT be back to this hotel again.

After a long drive I had to wait in line to check in by less than helpful staff, then wait for another 15 minutes on a room key to be replaced. Other than that, the room was beautiful, clean and quiet. Breakfast was average.

We were in town for the weekend. We are a family of 6 and found the Family suite perfect for our needs. It has 3 queen size beds so everyone had a good nights rest. The pool was a hit with the kids and breakfast was more than we ever expected. Most hotels that offer a free breakfast offer some fruit dry cereal and a bagel. Ramada not only had those items but eggs sausage french toast yogart and more. The Zoo was just a few miles away so we took advantage of that. I will definately be back when I am in Topeka. As a flight attendant I stay in a lot of hotels, this is one that I would recommend to everyone.

I booked this hotel with my husband and child while I was at a conference for school. For what was paid I was really disappointed. Hotel is beautiful had a good time in the pool,but that was it. Bathroom was terribly small, sheets rough,pillows hard. To top it off it was 80 degrees in the room, no AC available. Turned heat to 50 and still blowing . Turned it off and finally 2 hrs later got the hotel to provide a fan. 76 degrees was the coolest it got. A cranky overheated toddler does not sleep well,nor do her parents. Then the iron leaked like a sieve. I checked it before using it for rust etc. Didn't see it,but after finding water spots that dried nasty on a shirt noticed orange water coming out. Rush across to town to buy a new shirt and so then late to a conference making my school representation not so good. Playing in the pool with my family was the only good experience,next time will go elsewhere.

We had a very nice time over the Christmas holidays. Nice 10th floor view. A little disappointed that the indoor pool was closed for renovation. Great varied full breakfast buffet. Also nightclub, bar and resturant on site. Beautifully decorated for the Holidays.

The people were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. Enjoyed the stay and the price. Will call you next time for trip deals.....

The ramada inn was BEAUTIFUL and the counter attendants were so informative, the room was amazing clean and so was the bathroom. the shower head couldve been a litte nicer...it took 10 min to rinse out shampoo and i dont have long or thick hair but that was the only downer.

Good trip all around, Clean rooms, would have liked to had soap replaced when it was out and clean towels instead of the ones on the floor re-hung up but other than that overall good clean rooms and good breakfast.

We booked our room over a month ago for a King Size room. When we got there, they gave us a room with two full size beds. [...]

We tried to spend some time in the pool but it was extremely overcrowded. The picture online made it look a lot larger than it actually was. Also, if you plan on eating or having a drink after ten you're going to have to leave the hotel. I felt the restaurant should have stayed open later, but it did not.
