Good Value from Orbitz
Nicely refurbished older motel. Comfortable bed. Clean, new carpets, and nice furniture. Why wasn't the water slide open? Staff when we checked in couldn't smile were preoccupied with phone calls and administrative details. The breakfast was above average with a large selection, no paper or plastic, friendly and welcoming waitress. At the Orbitz price this was a great value

Stopped in on our Colorado Trip
We stayed here during our recent Colorado trip and we are from St. Louis. Very nice hotel. The only complaint I have is that we reserved with this hotel for the specific reason that they had a waterslide only to get there at 4PM on a sunday and find out it closes at 2PM on sundays. How idiotic is that when its open until 9pm every other day of the week. Chances are I won't be back. That really irritated me and that is the reason I won't be back.

Topeka Holiday Inn
The hotel is outdated with old and nondescript decor. There are hangers in the walls where pictures used to be but have been taken or removed. The heater is extremely loud and woke me up every time it kicked on. The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were incredibly small for a king bed.

Gramma
Gramma and 2 grandchildren had a blast!
The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were wonderful...soft and comfy. The grandchildren LOVED the big pool with twister slide and the jacuzzi! There was a game machine area which they enjoyed. We were treated to a free breakfast buffet Saturday morning which we weren't expecting and it was tasty and filling. Great over night stay!!

Sightseeing tip:

We toured the KS capitol and spent some time at the zoo...both very fun for a 14 and 9 year old. We found a great pizza/bagel place for lunch...everything is easy to get to. Plenty of good restaurants to choose from!!!

Great experience
This is a great hotel for the price. The kids LOVED the waterslide. The room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I've already recommended this hotel to friends and family.

There is a huge selection of restaurants less than a mile away and very easy to drive to.

It's all about the slide
This isn't the newest hotel, so you have to expect that the fixtures in the rooms are a little worn, but everything was clean and, let's face it, it's all about the slide.
