Salina stopover
We were there overnight traveling across Kansas. Great location right off I-70, staff was very helpful in helping us locate a good steak restaurant. Quiet, peaceful. Would stay again if in the area.

Could of been better
TV didn't work and we contacted the front desk. They said they would be right up and take care of it. After about 1 hour we went down there and they had forgotten. They showed us where a TV was in the store room and we brought it up to the room. Then after we got it there we had no remote. The remote had to be programed which we did ourselves the next day. They do need to have maintence around for this kind of thing during the evening shifts also instead of just day time... The pool area has one table and 6 chairs. Not enough room for people to sit and enjoy the area while the kids are swimming. Also the pool was not very clean. you could not see the bottom of the pool and there was things floating in the pool such as spit and goobers. Filter system must not of been working correctly...

short and sweet stay
The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in, and very informative about current local events. The room was clean, the noise level was low (the hotel was full), and the service was excellent. The only bad part of the whole stay was that the hotel had over-booked, so we were down-graded from a room with a king-size bed (what we booked) to a queen. But they still gave us a room with all the other promised amenities, and it was close to the pool. There are several restaurants at this same exit, most of which within walking distance and that I have eaten at on other trips to Salina, and would go to again.

The Good, the Bad and the Really Noisy
Always ask for a room on the north side of he building. The south side is next to the Interstate and you listen to trucks all night long as they pull off and into the several truck stops at that location.

Perfect for Family
I was traveling alone with two children and was thrilled with this motel. The staff was friendly, the motel was spotless, the pool stayed open late and there were resturants within walking distance. I will definetly stay there again.

Short walk from hotel
There was a McDonald's across a non-busy street for the late night happy meal my four year old was demanding and a IHOP near by for a late leasurely breakfast since we slept too late for the continental breakfast.
