You get what you pay for..

Locations was convenient, other than that this might have been a nice hotel at one time but needs alot of work. The bed was sunk down in the middle, sheets were scratchy and overall it just felt kinda creepy. There was so much broken concrete around the pool area i didn't feel safe getting in. They do seem to be trying to update it but the work is pretty shabby. Will spend the money elsewhere next stay. You get what you pay for, I chose to ignore some of the other reviews and gave them the benefit of the doubt. My mistake-

Great family facility

Very nice stay. We were only there for one night but wished we would have had time to experience the pool and other family-friendly ammenities. Staff was accommodating and the rooms were very nice. I had been worried because I knew it was an older facility, but everything was good. Thank you.

Contential breakfast was very poor and had very limited choices. It took along time to get the breakfast items restocked Front desk was very well managed., I left a personal item at the front desk and they had security return it to my room.

ok for a nights stay but nothing special

This place was once the crown jewel of the town. Unfortunetly the down turn in the economy has really taken it's toll. The facilities are run down. The entire place smells of mildew. The paint is peeling every where you look. Thursday night is kereokee night and is clearly heard throughout the entire hotel. A call to the front desk received a " I will see if they can close the door to the bar" response. Same goes for live music night on Saturday. Prices on line make this a cheap stay but for anything more than a night or two I can't recommend it.

Not bad

I was in Salina with family. The hotel was very easy to find and close to all the things we needed during our stay. The hotel itself needs some updates, seems a bit dark and out dated. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall it was a good stay.

Spend a few extra dollars elsewhere

Don't be baited by the pool and slide. This hotel is dark, dirty, and in desperate need of a complete renovation. I asked my wife at what point this once impressive hotel just stopped caring. Dirty floors, sagging mattresses, holes in the drop ceilings, unfinished paint jobs, broken faucets, water damage and chipped concrete in the pool area, and dirty coffee mugs are just some of the many problems. I strongly advise you to pay extra money for a higher quality hotel in the area such as a Hampton Inn. We will be doing that next time.

Great Deal for Tired Traveler

My Granddaughter and I made an extended day-trip out of our trip to South Central Kansas. I was very tired following a couple of days involving a lot of driving. My requirements for our stay was to have a clean, comfortable room with very comfortable beds!We were not disappointed. The room had wonderful beds and comfortable chairs. My granddaughter really enjoyed the pool. The only thing missing was a microwave & small refrigerator in the room. We didn't need them for our stay but would be nice for many travelers.

Unorganized management in good facility

Attended a wedding reception and stayed in hotel.Only one clerk to check in large crowd at 3 P.M.Rooms were not ready. No towels available as they were being laundered. [...]advertised "free" hot breakfast. Hotel ran low on food and required additional $4.99 for "hot breakfast" on bar. Two kinds of muffins, toast, one dry cereal and OJ, coffee, milk were the only selections. Please do not advertise what is not available.
