Great Hotel

The hotel lobby/bar/restaurants were a great place to go when we wanted to get out of our room. Starbucks in lobby was great! ... Nothing better than waking up and having a Starbucks coffee without even leaving the hotel! Modern decor, staff was extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Will be staying there again when we come back to visit!

The staff wasn't terrible just nothing special, and this sums up pretty much everything. Just Average! some things a little ... above such as the contemporary style, some things below, such as the thin walls, bed sheets not fitting, and a very weird floor plan! not good weird, bad weird.

The hotel lobby is still under construction. A small restaurant is open, but the main dinning facilities and bar are still ... not open. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are quiet and very comfortable.

parking is inconvenient. its also under construction - that sucked. and the single column of elevators was very slow. for ... what should have been a business style hotel - there were so many little leaguers running around until all hours of the night...

Hotel was undergoing construction :(

We did not know the hotel was undergoing construction. I wish we did know. My husband and I spent 3 nites (4 days there) ... for our sons college graduation at KU. In this economy we haven't gotten away for a while. We were looking forward to having everything (fitness center, pool, whirlpool, etc.) at the hotel which was disappointing.The hotel did give us complimentary passes to another place. My husband used it once.The room was small for a king size bed room. The bed was great, high quality sheets & sleep.The TV nice/new,no guide so it was hit or miss. Movie rental extremely high at $13.99 to rent a comedy movie! We could go to a movie theatre for close to that! Room service food was very good, as were the room service personnel. As 2 coffee drinkers, we could there was coffee in the room, but none in lobby. If you wanted more than the one cup coffee in your room, you had to pay for it at the Starbucks in the hotel which isn't cheap, and my husband does not like starbucks coffee (not everyone does). In all my years of business travel, I've never been to a hotel where there wasn't free coffee. It was so disapointing that our hotel had construction going on. We did not hear it, but all the amenities we were looking forward to using were closed due to the construction. We would have made a different choice if we had known that but Orbitz did not let us know.

I really liked everything except for the very small bathroom. You have to climb over the stool to get out of the shower. ... Other than that the room and hotel were very nice.
