Knights Inn Overland Park

The hotel was OK, linens changed everyday but the first day, there were no washcloths or handtowels. When we checked out (at 6AM), the office was not open yet and there was no place to put the key cards except under the door. The office opened at 6:30 AM. The coffee maker quit working the last morning we were there.

Arrived late in the city, made reservation online. I drove to location and immediately was informed by staff that if I had just came in the room would have been cheaper. The clerk on duty then proceeded to be put out by the fact he had to do paperwork like that was my fault because I made a late reservation. The room was ok but bathroom was still not completely clean, hair in the shower and no hand towels.

I stayed two nights at the hotel. It had internet access so that was helpful. There were not that many choice of restaurants around in that area that would have made it more enjoyable. A convenience was that it was located right next to a bigger hotel and it appeared that they shared amenities. The hotel was adequate for my needs.

When checking in, we were told that something went wrong with their computer system and they overbooked. No room left even though we'd already paid fully and booked our room reservation months earlier. We tried to get a refund but were unsuccessful. We were then directed to go to another Knights Inn about 5 miles further away (thank God we didn't get lost since it was already quite late at night). Just horrible!

The manager that checked us in was extremely friendly, the check inn area was really cluttered and it foreshadowed what was to come. At first glance the room was fine for $46 a night except for the fact the hotel doesn't supply full bodied towels. That night I killed a roach in the room and checked out the next day and had to check in the Settle Inn. [...] We left Knights Inn at 10am and had to ride around with no place to shower for four hours until we checked into our new hotel.

Was not a pleasant experience. This motel needs to be shut down until they either completely renuvate or tear it down. It's "nasty" !!!!!!!!!!

The hotel said it was in Overland Park, sign on the road said Shawnee Mission. Room was nasty, reaked of cigarette smoke was suppose to be non smoking. Motel was behind Ramada Inn, dark alley motel. Did not stay, would not even begin to be able to touch anything in the room. Very scary location. This motel should not be on the 2 star list, it should not have any stars. I would like to know who stayed at this motel to approve it.

Please don't recomend to anyone, it is garbage

The guy at the front desk was not polite. We had asked for ajioning rooms. He said they didn't have any. Then when we got into our rooms, one of them had a doorway to the next room. Both rooms we had reeked of smoke even though they were supposedly non-smoking. Pretty sure a drug deal was going on in the parking lot. I would NEVER stay there again!
