Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park

Location was perfect for events I came to town to attend. Front desk staff was excellent. breakfast was lovely. afternoon coffee was a nice "perk." room was clean though shower wasnt exactly sparkling. heat was a little loud but kept room at decent temperature. pet peeve of mine is hearing other visitors' doors slam in hallway, and this hotel's doors did NOT do this! did not use pool but friends' kids enjoyed it.

If you want a nice reasonably priced hotel near the convention center this is the best place to stay.

Very comfortable room..friendly staff, especially the waitress we had for dinner on Aug. 12th!! Loved the food..especially the omlets!

Always very happy to stay at this hotel. The staff is great, the food options better than any other HGI I've stayed in, the rooms are very comfortable....all is very good..

My daughter swam in the pool and we ordered in pizza for dinner. We were in town for an early birthday weekend for my daughter to go to the American Girl store. The location of the hotel was just 10 minutes away from the mall so was a great location. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Had a little mix-up with the breakfast Sunday morning. I thought when I booked the room that it was included with the room booking but we had to pay for it. The food was good and the staff very attentive so even though we were charged, the menu and selection was worth the $10 we each had to pay (no charge for my 8 year old daughter). The only negative we had was that there was a soccer tournament in town and the kids were running up and down the hall and were very loud but that was not the hotel's fault.

Came to Overland Park with some extended family to watch my daughter in a performance at the New Dinner Theatre. Had 3 rooms here, and absolutely loved this hotel! It was only minutes to the theatre, surrounded by every type of restaurant and shopping imaginable. The rooms and all facilities were really nice and well-kept. The staff at the front desk were lovely, especially [...]...totally sweet and accomodating to my family as we gathered in the cozy lobby area to socialize late in the evening, after the shows. As for the rooms...we had one of their "adjustable" beds, which was very comfortable, even though I didn't really think it adjusted when I changed the dial. But I have back issues and I slept GREAT!! I love the bathrooms (sink and vanity INSIDE the bathroom, not in the middle of the room), the microwave and fridge were very convenient, the bedding was really pretty and comfy, and everything just seemed fresh and new! I really appreciate that. I had read previous reviews that said the rooms were quiet and that was very true. My husband and I even had a chance to use the jacuzzi/pool and work-out room - we were the only ones in there on Saturday afternoon, and we REALLY enjoyed it. Very up to date and very clean. We had one breakfast at the First Watch near by (which is always great), but also enjoyed eating in the hotel the second morning. That staff was also very friendly and helpful - everything was really good. Of course it would be nice if they offered at least a complementary continental breakfast, but if that's a problem you could alway utilize the micro and fridge in your room and bring your own! Bottom line, there are many hotels right in that Convention Ctr area, and we've stayed at another there, but we will always choose the Hilton Garden Inn from now on. This hotel understands SERVICE!

Great location and convinience of on-site restaurant serving food and drink all day.

Quick check-in, spacious room, nice desk and plenty of room to work. Bed was GREAT and there was a huge whirlpool tub that I didn't have a chance to try. They had a water saver feature on the shower head. I honestly couldn't get the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair!! I had to lay down and use the faucet on the tub to rinse my hair. Shower took twice as long as a result. :-(

It was the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in. If it was not for seeing all the people on the main floor I would have thought we were the only ones there. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

Hotel was great, close to shopping, resturants ect. Good service, just didn't have a coffee refill one day and elevators were hot. Very clean and front desk staff were great in heping us find places in KC.
