Rest comfortably in one of our spacious rooms or suites which are non-smoking, cool down in our outdoor pool, stay connected with free high speed Internet, and enjoy our complimentary deluxe continental breakfast including: muffins, milk, juice, cereals and coffee. Ideally located just off of I-35 and Metcalf Avenue. With convenient access to all major attractions in the Kansas City Metropolitan area, including Country Club Plaza, the Downtown district, the Crown Center, and the Kansas Speedway with fantastic shopping and dining options. Continental breakfast hours from 6am-9am. Pet accommodations: 10.00/night, per pet.Pet limit: 1 pet per room. Maximum 30 pounds. In-room safe fee 1.61 per night.

Room OK

The Room was clean, it was worn and there was some rust in the tub that made it look a little bad. It was comparable quality to the price. I wished the bed was a little softer but my husband thought it was good.

not worth the stay

We booked this hotel to keep expenses low... however, it was not worth it. Next time I will spend the extra money to stay at a nicer hotel. The bed was hard with two very small pillows. Only had two small towels for a two day stay, and the front desk did not want to give out more towels. Wall paper was beginning to peel away from the wall, trash under the bed, and the room smelled like cigarette smoke. Will not stay again.

Not quite as advertised.

The reviews I read prior to booking indicated that the free breakfast was especially good for a motel at this price. This has apparently changed since those reviews. The pool was the best part of the stay. The staff was friendly but less than helpful when I called to tell them the toilet in our room was clogged.

Not too bad

Not the best, but not too bad. No real complaints. All the rooms are accessed from outside (no interior hallway), so didn't feel safe to let my 10 year old son get the ice.

Simple hotel, basic amenities

Hotel was basic. No elevators. staff was helpful. bed was way too hard to sleep on. Hotel was too far from Airport. not much to do in the area.

Great Hotel

My friend and I were in town for a few days and booked 2 nights here (Overland Park EconoLodge) and it was just right! We had a quiet, clean room and were very pleased that it included a fridge/microwave/mini coffee maker, etc. Checking in was really easy and we didn't have any problems, though I did take off a star because I had to call the staff multiple times when we needed something for our room, though eventually they did show up. The area outside the hotel looked very well-kept and we felt safe staying there :)

There is a QuickTrip gas station and a Steak N Shake within walking distance of the hotel, very convenient!

OK during midweek winter

Motel room was just that. Always afraid of bed bugs.Hope I didn't bring them home....The obvious non American speaking manager [*] was very quick to point out the 15 minute limit for the computer in the lobby, which I was just trying to check flght info.[*]

just what we needed

It was just what we expected. Clean, inexpensive, the things we needed. There were the normal iron coffeypot and ref and micro. We were in a class for 2 days and meeting close friends for supper. The nice thing was the quiet restful surroundings close to our classes. We did however, find the bed tooo firm. We would have liked it 20 yrs ago in our 40s.
