College move-in weekend
Our room was very nice. There was construction going on in the lobby but it was not intrusive at all. the front desk clerk couldn't have been any better. She was friendly, helpful and extremely pleasant. Will book this hotel again for our next visit to the area.

K-State Parent
It's Alright
We came to Manhattan for K-State Enrollment & Orientation Weekend. We usually stay at Hamptons when traveling. This Hampton was a disappointment for the price. We'll pick a different hotel here next time. They also told us the price that we booked online was not a correct quote, so they added another $20 to our room fee. Double check w/this staff to make sure the room amount is correct before going.

Short drive from hotel
Everything including the Campus is a close and short drive. Traffic was not a problem. We drove around to explore the town before checking into the hotel. Loved the town.

Sending kids to K-State
Great hotel
The hotel desk greeted us by asking for our "government issued" credit card. I gave him my credit card and he again asked for a government issued one.I told him I didn't know what he meant.He explained that the room rate was a government rate. I explained that I hadn't reserved it as a government special, just a regular customer.He then never explained that the rate would change.He just changed it on my signature card and then shoved the paper at me and told me to sign.I asked about the change and he then told me that I wasn't getting that rate because I didn't have a government card. He should have explained what the rate was before he just changed it. The room was excellent and quite worth the price as compared to others in the area, but the front desk was extremely rude and didn't explain the rate change. I'm still confused as to what the government rate thing was because that is not what I was looking for when I booked this.

Good Hotel
Good Hotel. There was some hall noise due to bunches of boys in town for basketball. All rooms in Manhattan, KS are expensive compared to other similar sized towns where I have stayed. I would stay in this hotel again.

great family motel
Our family had a very nice stay at the Hampton Inn in Manhattan Kansas. It was certainly accommadating to all ages, as we had family age 94 down to 7 yr. and everyone was happy and well cared for. Really enjoyed the pool and complimentary breakfast.
