Not great but not bad for the price
We were visiting friends & family in the area. We always stay there and usually have no problem. This time there were maintance problems with leaking tub faucets and a door that even the desk clerk had trouble getting open. But staff was very nice and tried to fix the problems quickly. We will give them another try next trip.

Oak Park Mall is just a few blocks away. Close to I35 & 95th st which puts you easy driving access to just about everyplace you would want to go in the area

Frequent Frugal Travelers
DON'T BELIEVE PHOTOS!
DO NOT BELIEVE THE PHOTOS! Totally seedy place....we witnessed the arrest of a squatter. A police officer told us that he wouldn't stay here. That was the last straw before we went elsewhere. The first room we were given had a broken door that you could push open at the bottom and slither into the room even with the door locked! The replacement room had: a patched up toilet, a multi-colored pill on the floor, and stained sheets. Upon returning to the lobby for a refund, we witnessed the squatter's arrest. DON'T STAY HERE!

Not what was expected at all
The room was not ready upon arrival & they arrived late in the day. The toilet ran all night, the shower leaked & the staff was rude. Will never stay there again. For the amount that was paid for this room, my husband & his buddy (went for the NASCAR Race) deserve money back. The beds were too hard to sleep on. Basically the place sucked.

The good ^ the Bad
THe Elevator didn't always work, Mold in te Bath tub. Shower curtain has some mold on it, The pillow slips didn't look fresh and crisp. Sheets were worn

About what I expect for the price.
When I got to my room it seem pretty decent till I discovered the water pouring through the ceiling in the bath room. Staff was apologetic and got me another room right away, however it was not as nice of a room but the ceiling didn't leak. I don't expect much with the free breakfasts but this was even less. I will probably be looking for another hotel to stay in next time.

Benjamin very dissapointed
A real nightmare.
Tried to go to my daughters graduation but US Airways did not get me there on time. The hotel was in serious need of maintenance and the room. Had to pay for hotel night and car rental that I did not use because of Airline delays and grief. I will never use that Airline or Orbitz to purchase a package ever again. I was not even offered any compensation after reporting the situations.

weekend in KC
everything was great...however, we checked to make sure the hotel was pet friendly, and it is. BUT we were not made aware that there was a $30 non-refundable pet fee.

Was reasonablly near Mid America
