Fantastic Getaway

The hotel was super easy to get to upon arriving in Lawrence. We met my sister there and went to our room and marveled how ... nice it was. We went to my sister's house during the days and stayed at the hotel at night. We had a relaxing, wonderful time. I went to the different floors and outdoors. The breakfast was really great. We had to make your own waffles with lots of different toppings. There is an Amtrak next to the hotel rooms and we did not hear them until we walked outside.

This is a great place to be in Lawrence. Lawrence's downtown is a wonderful place with unique shops, bars and restaurants ... all within easy walking distance. The hotel is also about 100 yards from the football shuttle so it is easy to get to the game.

Modern, Updated, and Clean

We came to Lawrence to see a concert at The Bottleneck. We chose this hotel because of its location, which is within walking ... distance to clubs and restaurants on Massachusetts. The room we stayed in had been recently remodeled in a very modern style. It really was a pleasant surprise to see that the room was not only very clean, but also beautifully decorated. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

What a Great Place. I have been to Lawrence Ks. many time before and never knew this beautful Hotel that looks over the ... Kansas river and at the north end of Mass. street even existed. I will be back.

Great place for family

The location was great. We loved the view of the river and my kids seen an eagle flying over the river. It was great to ... have two TV's in the room, but the pool hours were the best. We enjoyed the size of the rooms and small fridge. Breakfast was very satisfying. We took our breakfast to our rooms, because we enjoyed staying in the room. The night of our stay I walked to some Mass St to check out some shops and places to eat. On our way out we visited the chocolate shop. I would stay there again and recommend to a friend.
