Motel 6 Lawrence KS

$220plus tax for 2 nights--- I expected more. My room smelled with that not so clean smell. Someone was trying to start a motor boat engine right outside my window until 12:00am. The cleaning staff was very noisy, talking loudly, etc. Coffee was just barely drinkable, at best. I felt I was ripped off because this was graduation weekend and the rates were increased. If I was spending $39 a night, I would expect as much, but not at the price I was paying.

Doesn't the simple basic necessities such as tissues or an alarm clock. The room was very quiet, I could hear every other door shutting in the motel.

Went to Kansas Relays for son to compete in HS division. Requested non smoking reservation told at arrival no non smoking available, room was ozone treated (couldn't tell by odor, it was brought home in our clothes after a 1 night stay, 2 double beds, 2 full size bath towels only in the room, laid down on bed spread after checking in and arose with animal hair all over the side that touched the bed spread. Did receive a 10% discount for smoker room (WOW no discount for animal hair). Probably won't choose Motel 6 in Lawrence next year at Kansas Relays!

easy to find,quick checkin. no shampoo or conditioner, just a small bar of soap. tv remote wouldn't work. no breakfast in the morning. no national paper. blinds wouldn't keep the lights out from the turnpike right outside.

This motel was the pit. It was very hard to find, it sit back about 2000 feets from the main road. The parking lot was also very bad, section damage and section not done at all. The reception and the attendant look none professional. The overall look of the lobby was sad looking. I had to paid $59. + tax because yhey do not have an account with [...]. There is no breakfast only bad coffee. The room was 1950 furniture, TV with remote control not working. no other luxury available "shampoo etc." The mattress was extra firm which was ok with me. They put me on the 3 rd floor even so there was about 6 car in the parking lot.

Friendly staff. Check in was smooth. Room was decently clean. The fire sprinkler in the bathroom was plugged with toilet paper, I guess for a leak? The room was musty smelling for some reason. It served our needs for the night so we can't really complain.

The best thing about my experience at this motel was the manager noticed I used a cane and put me in a first floor room (without having to request it). The bathroom had a dead cockroach smashed against the wall. The shower curtain didn't work well, so we ended up with water all over the floor. Coffee in the lobby was not available.

since I was by myself, it was very nice to have inside doors. I was on the 2nd floor and have a hard time going up and down stairs but this motel 6 had an elevator close to my room. the room was big and the bed was a queen size. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

Dropped through Lawrence, KS on a road trip and heard great things about Massachusettes St. Had a good time downtown and could walk back to the hotel!
