Comfortable place to relax
We stayed here for seven nights and are 100% satisfied. It is a very clean hotel with all of the amenities we like including internet, cable tv with HBO, and a very well supplied breakfast bar with hot food and fruit and yogurt. When in Lawrence KS we would not stay anywhere else!

Convenient & Clean
We only stopped for the night on the way thru Kansas. It was clean, conveniently located to I70 & restaurants, staff was friendly and price reasonable. Can't ask much more.

A lot more amenities than pricier hotels.
The room was great, breakfast was very good. Free wifi, cookies, morning paper and the staff were very friendly. The only drawback was the room air conditioner needs to be updated so one may run the fan (blocks out noise) while in cooling mode.

Gorgeous
Very comfortable, very clean, great breakfast. Quiet, convenient to KU and lots of shopping centers. Very easily accessible to I-70 and the front desk staff was very helpful.

Hampton Inn-
I was here for a basketball tournament-the room was great. However, there was a loud party near my room and a drunken man knocked on the door at 115 AM-he thought it was a different room. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Great place to stay while in Lawrence. The front desk staff suggested a great BBQ place and were very helpful with directions.

Hampton Inn - Lawrence, KS
Overall, the hotel was fine - what you could expect for a budget-friendly place. The room was clean and large and the pull-out couch and fridge came in handy when we had the kids stay with us. There were a bunch of college teams staying in the hotel while we were there so the lobby got crowded but the room was quite. We heard the breakfast staff making some rude comments about guests which we thought was inappropriate. The hot tub was filthy. You could barely see through the water. The front desk staff upon check-in was mediocre but when we checked out on Monday AM, the lady was really nice and even offered us a to-go breakfast (we were leaving before it was being served).

Homecoming Weekend
The room was neat and clean and the staff was always visable and very friendly. The lobby was large enough for groups waiting to leave. I enjoyed receiving the local paper every day.

Pleasant, Extremely Clean and Comfortabl
The beds were extremely comfortable. Everything was extremely clean and the towels were super white and high quality. The room was spotless and had superior quality carpeting. The staff was more than pleasant and helped me several times, including locating local businesses when I was short of time. I have paid twice as much for hotels that are absolutely no better.

The hot salsa at the Mexican restaurant one mile west of the Hampton was the best green variety I have tasted. Also nearby, the Stone Creek restaurant had an interesting selection of drinks and a respectable menu.
