Days Inn KU Lawrence

We got what we paid for, sort of. I have stayed in worse places but this wasn't good. Our bed was three old and dirty mattresses stacked together on the floor and the room was fairly dirt as well. The staff was unfriendly. I will not stay at the motel again. Other than the location I have nothing positive to stay. I work in a hotel myself, a 5 star in a large city, I know how things should be done.

The room was moldy, sheets created rashes & help couldn't have cared less.

Came to town for a wedding. Hotel waa convenient to the venue. Room was a little small but comfortable.

this hotel was very dirty and run down..the staff was very unfriendly..and it was an overall awful experience..i was disgusted with the dirtiness and run down room, hair, dust, dirt and all..then the breakfast was gross, stale cereal and bagels and very watered down juice..very unhappy with this hotel!!

I was in town for one night for a wedding at KU. I wanted a room that was cost effective and from reading the tag line "clean, friendly and recently remodeled" sounded good. This was far from the truth. Dirty, old and unrepaired. Never again will I stay at a Days Inn!

Friendly and responsive front desk and housekeeping staff. We did have trouble with the air conditioner thermostat, so we either roasted or froze. There aren't enough electrical outlets, so power strips enabled extra appliances. One outlet was so loose, it rattled in the wall when we moved the power cord. Our room had a small refrigerator and microwave at no extra cost. Tasty in-room coffee. Internet wi-fi was responsive, easy to connect and included with our room fee. Pleasantly comfortable bed. The continental breakfast would have been hard to eat for more than two days; sugar cereals, donuts, waffles, instant oatmeal, bagels, apples, bananas, juice and coffee.

The hotel was pretty nice. For only fifty dollars a day, you can have breakfast, swim in a pool, and relax in an air-conditioned room.

paint on the door was half peeling, white paint on the window that had been there a while because it was dirty, very low water pressure on the shower head, no cups for the coffee maker, had to ask for waffle mix for breakfast at 9 am. very stingy on supplies, not very clean dirt clump behind bathroom door, electrical outlet not covered properly on right side of bed.

We were there for a competition at KU. The location was convenient and the free snacks were a nice touch. The front desk was very friendly, and the rooms were clean. The rooms have not been remodelled in while, but the beds are comfortable. They have free breakfast.
