Nice Location - Nothing great
Nice location south of KU campus and walking distance to restaurants and bars. Not the MASS street downtown area, but newer businesses south. Only complaint was the maidservice skipped the room one day and the "workout room" had a non-functioning treadmill, empty water cooler, no towels, and no cups for the empty water cooler. C'mon! Fair price, clean rooms and nice beds.

good value
I like this place. It's very well located for just about everything in town. It's in good shape. Rooms are good sized, comfortable, reasonably quiet. No smoking rooms have not been smoked in at least for a long time. Nice pool. Okay breakfast. Not so hot choice of tv stations. But pretty good price--at least on weekdays when there's no big event in town or at KU. I can imagine that prices might go up when Lawrence is full of out of towners--like basketball or football game days or homecoming. And I'd guess the place would be noisier and the staff would be harried by the extra work. But on a quiet day in the middle of the week, a nice place to unwind from the road.

great place to stay for Kansas race
Hotel was nice and clean, fiendly staff. Easy to get form hotel to Kansas speedway, Cabela's, and Bass Pro. Plenty of places to eat and get anything you need.

Snowbound
Blizzard Stay
Had to get a low cost room during the whiteout snow storm. Was very clean and the hotel staff shoveled out a place to park my car when I got stuck in the parking lot due to the snow.

Great Value!
Very simple hotel and is a great location to KU. Not walkable, but for the value you can afford to take a cab. Very clean...nice rooms and friend staff. I would stay there again!

Great Location and Great Price
I booked a King bed room but ended up with two Queen beds. Other than that my stay was perfect. The room and hotel was very clean. It was very close to the KU campus which was a plus.

Best Western Lawrence - AWFUL!!!
REALLY BAD!!! Room smelled awful, moldy shower, holes in walls and door. We had to walk across the parking lot from our building in sub zero temps to use the pool. Will never stay in this hole again!
