Comfort Suites Speedway

We've never had a bad experience at Comfort Suites and this was certainly no exception! Would definitely stay again.

Your rating is incorrect! This hotel is not 2 **, it should be a 4 **** stars. I need early check in to make an event on time. The staff was very accommodating. I stay at hotels in this area often. In the future, I will be using this hotel.

Stopped at this hotel during family move from the east coast to Colorado. It was one of the few that allowed pets ($40 fee) and had a non-smoking policy. Looks fine from the outside, but the stained carpets throughout the hallways and stained couch in the room indicated that this hotel has been used way too often by drunken race fans from the nearby KC speedway. The room was a decent size, but the air conditioner in the window was not able to keep the room cool or dehumidified on a very warm summer day. The desk I'm typing this on is wobbling and in danger of collapsing, the high speed internet is not much better than dial up. The bathroom is average in size, with peeling wallpaper and a sink faucet that is leaking all over the countertop. The mini-fridge is barely cold. After driving all day, this place provided no real relaxation factor and the only thing standing between me and the door is the late hour and having to load/reload a family of five's belongings. I've stayed more than 30 days in hotels this year and this is by far the worst. Only real plus I see is the location as it is close to I-70 and very close to Cabela's and lots of great shopping, etc. Oh, and the fitness center had two machines - treadmill and elliptical (brand named True) in a space that could hold 6-8 machines. The pool was average but looked very cloudy and green compared to the hotel we stayed in last night.

Was pretty much average, nothing really outstanding or special. I personally dont think it was work the $80 I spent on the room but there was nothing at all bad about it. Very easy to check in and out, staff was helpful.

Room was clean. only problem was the air conditioner wouldn't stay on.

My 2nd stay at a Comfort Inn and this was by far the nicer one. That said, my room was as nice as some of the Hilton's I've stayed in and half the price. Beautiful King Suite, incredibly kind and attentive staff, decent breakfast options. I will stay here again, as I probably will be in the area a lot more. No complaints, at all and I'm picky. :)

The room was very clean and the desk clerk was extremely helpful. My wife and I had just returned from a 7 day trip to Jamaica and were very tired and hungry. The clerk went out of her way to provide us with snacks and tea even though it was 1am. The hotel was quiet and within walking distance of a convenience store. The only negative was the selection of food for breakfast(there wasn't a lot to choose from) and some remodeling within the hotel. I guess it's a good thing though that damage was being fixed even though it was an eye sore.

We spent most of our day shopping at the legends. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was good. The pool is small but didn't have time to use it. Easy to get to as it is located just north of the Legends. Will stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a decent with no frills. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. My only complaint is that they had a pool, but no hot tub.

We had a short stay, but the rooms were spacious and comfortable!!
