Not worth the money

My husband and I stayed in the Castaway Isle room, which was just okay. There was nowhere to put even our overnight suitcase, except on the floor. We did have a shower, but it was connected to the whirlpool tub, which made it very awkward to get into (tub was also very hard to access and we're young!). Also, you can't control your heater/ac thermostat, they "adjust" it for you=freezing! Breakfast delivered to your room was a nice touch, but not so many choices...basically a microwaved omelet, croissant, or yogurt, plus a yummy cinnamon roll. Overall, Chateau Avalon needed some updating and general cleaning, but we still won't waste our money here again.

Excellent

We had a weekend getaway and it was wonderful. Close to shopping, restaurants and theaters. We stayed in the Pirates Cove and the room was wonderful. The bed was so comfortable and the jacuzzi was perfect for a cold winters night. A+ all around including the breakfast brought to your room!

Fantastic Romantic Experience

We stayed in the Serengiti room. It was great. Breakfast was fantastic and everyone was very friendly. The entire place was beautiful. They even had dvds that you could borrow to watch movies in your room. But the best part of the whole experience was the tub.
