What I expected
This is a good value, the room was clean and large and the in-room fridge and microwave were a nice convenience. There are restaurants within walking distance and the location is only a few minutes drive to the activities in downtown Kansas City. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, so cannot comment on the quality of that amenity. Overall, I would agree with the 3-star rating.

The Boulevard Brewery tour is great and only about a five-minute drive from the hotel.

Nice, affordable stay
We found our lodging to be comfortable and well appointed. We were surprised that both a frig and microwave were included, which helped keep a take-home box chilled overnight and also heat some oatmeal on short notice for a diabetic in our party. The breakfast included plain cheerios rather than only sugary cereals.

Union Station in KC has a few great restaurants. We had a wonderful, healthy lunch at Harvey's.

Good stay
This hotel was easy to get to and from and was close enough to downtown that it wasn't a hassle . Clean room was a plus.

Awesome value!
My husband and I spent two nights at this hotel and were very happy with it! The staff were friendly, it was close to the city's attractions, it was very affordable, and we utilized their free shuttle to get to a concert at the Sprint Center. Unfortunately the shuttle stopped running before the concert was over, but we took an affordable cab ride back to the hotel. One thing to note - the hotel is in Kansas, not Missouri. That led to a little confusion at first, but if you stay on SW Boulevard you'll get there.

A place to be
I was traveling on business and needed to stay over one night in an economical setting; this hotel worked out fine. The staff members were particularly friendly and helpful. At the time of my visit, the hotel was undergoing remodeling, but that was okay because I just needed a place to be for the night. It was clean and comfortable, and conveniently located to downtown.

Not upto par
The hotel was underconstruction and was very dirty. The breakfast was powdered eggs that were very much overcooked both mornings and the orange juice was sour.
