Fairfield Hays
Staff very nice and helpful. Good location . Very nice tasteful room with comfy bed. Fridge and Microwave in room and WIFI works well. Nice breakfast with fresh biscuits and gravy, eggs, waffles, good coffee, and the usual "continental" breakfast rolls danish and bagels etc. Nice big screen---but tricky to turn on. Pleasant surprise. Will stay there again.

Handy to have close restaurant you like. Can dine there or pick up and walk back to room. Especially handy if your room has fridge and microwave. I even used the wifi to order before walking over to pick it up. Handy.

Mediocre room, high price
The room and hotel would be OK---at $60 per night. Unfortunately, I paid twice that[...]. The room was clean but well-worn and dated. The curtains were see-through and bright light streamed in all night. The TV was quite old and marginally defective---the top half of the picture would often stop displaying. For the price I would expect a much nicer room.

Comfortable and Quiet
The hotel is not far off the freeway, but far enough to be quiet. The beds were very comfortable, lots of pillows and plenty of towels. Everything was very clean, and we love the fact that it is all non-smoking. The breakfast buffet was wonderful.

Applebee's and a Mexican restaurant are right across the drive, in walking distance. Many other dining places close by.

Great Staff
The staff at the front dest were polite and helpful. They helped with directions and ideas for places to visit and eat. One thing i was looking forward to was the hot tub but it was broken and was not repaired during my stay. Also it was difficult to get to the hotel due to major road construction. The town was great and I enjoyed the visit and overall I was pleased.

Wal-Mart is next door along with an Applebees, a mexican restaurant and another restaurant I cannot remember the name of. The hotel is right off of I-70 for easy access around town.
