Just a good night's sleep
Room was surprising large, with only one queen-size bed in a room that could have easily accommodated two queens or a king. Comfort of the bed was wonderful! Nice amenities such as microwave, fridge, free internet, and breakfast. The staff was flexible to my needs for a little extra time the following morning. No noise or housekeeping interruption while I rested.

Short drive from hotel
The only Starbucks in Hays is a Starbucks Vendor (not a stand-alone store) inside a mexican restaurant. Still worth it for a dedicated coffee junkie. The locals know about it, so ask for directions. You wouldn't stumble across it by just driving into town.
