Great Stay
We had an overnight stay as we were traveling from Colorado. This was a great stop with the kids. They enjoyed the pool and we had a good breakfast before getting on the road again. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Disappointed
We had driven 950 miles with the expectation that a room would be ready for us. Upon arrival at 11pm with groggy children in arms, we were horrified to find our room had not been cleaned. The guy at the front desk was extremely apologetic and immediately retrieved clean bedding and towels. My wife and I made the beds and cleaned the room. Not what I wanted to do after driving 14 hours. The next day, after some bargaining, the manager said she would reimburse part of the cost of the stay. The facility was nice but the stay left a sour taste for us.

Family Funeral
Excellent hotel and GREAT atmosphere
This hotel was excellent! We arrived early and the staff was nice enough to allow us to check in early so that we could allow our 4 children to burn off some steam at the pool. The staff was always very courteous and helpful, no matter what we needed. We had several members of my family staying at the hotel because we were in town for a funeral, so we lounged in the lobby most of the time. The lobby is located in a great spot, with foot traffic of other customers of the hotel not coming through the lobby. They even had some games for the kids to play in the lobby. Hotel was very clean and the suite was excellent for a larger family!

Buddy's Barbeque-It is downtown Goodland, and by FAR the best place to eat in town! They were very accomodating for our party of 16, and DIDN'T charge gratuity on the check!!!

the best of goodland
Very nice staff. Good clean room. Continetal breakfast OK. Good beds and sheets. Budget level furniture, Will stay the again because it is the best of goodland. Expensive for location and accomodations.

Clean Room, Good Breakfast
The hotel was very clean and the room was nice. Breakfast was a plus... It was much more than a continental breakfast with eggs and biscuits and gravy.

Ok, gave it another try "foundherinkansas" was my first review. As i thought the previous trip here was a fluke. Room was very clean, breakfast was hot and had some variety, hotel was packed full first night and i didnt hear a soul during the night. My only complaint is that the price went up from previous trips here. Little pricey for a roadside hotel, but given the location and conditions of surrounding properties well worth the extra.

Found her in KS
Nice place to stay
This was my second stay at this property. Previously found the hotel to be above average (thats why i returned) However, his trip was less than stellar. In a small community the hotel had few patrons and i was assigned a handicap room for no apparent reason. Found the room to be FILTHY. Also, found the bed to be very "hot" to sleep in and had trouble with the heater working when it wanted to. I am gonna chalk it up to a bad day for the housekeeping attendant. I travel to Goodland once a quarter, will give it another shot just to see if it was a fluke.

Wonderful Hotel
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was so clean and quiet. The pool was really clean unlike most hotel pools. I can't express enough how friendly the staff was and the breakfast was really good too!! We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

We had dinner at On the Bricks in the cute little downtown. It was home style and YUMMY. The prices were really reasonable too. The tenderloin sandwich is HUGE. They also make homemade chips w/ bbq flavor. All of the local folks were really friendly. Walmart is close to the hotel too if you forget anything.

Just don't look for good food nearby the hotel, just fast food mostly. You have to drive into town for a good meal.
