Near a train track
Just before retiring we could feel the floor shake which was transmitted into the bed and you could see the TV setting on the dresser shaking. Called the front desk and was informed that a train had passed by and that is what we felt. I asked if this occurred during the night and was told probably not. We thought it was an earthquake for a moment, but when we looked out the window nothing was moving. Was not awakened during the night by "trains" so it was just the short period of not knowing what was going on that was upsetting.

This hotel is a nice quiet place to stay.It's location is great right in the middle of all the tourist attactions.Had nice hot breakfest and people was great and helpful.

Nice decor and comfortable bed.
Nice choice and close to Dodge City and Boot Hill . Good clean breakfast which included omelets. Comfortable accent chair in room. Room needed some minor attention with lamp repair and the bathroom needed a bit more attention to detail of cleaning but the room was comfortable and overall felt comfortable. No old hotel smell, or smell of smoke.

Did the dinner and show at the longbranch in Boot hill. Food was good, seconds allowed too. And the show was fun. Don't miss the shoot out!!

college summer baseball trip
Great staff, clean rooms and good location to downtown Dodge City. Stayed for four nights to watch my son's summer college baseball team the Dodge City A's. Will be returning in July with my whole family and have already booked my rooms here again!

Comfort and Quality
I stay here every time I'm in Dodge City for business. This is a newer Best Western and meets all my expectations. Location is excellent on the corner of two major streets. Some of the first floor rooms have both hall and outside entrance. I have not used the pool or exercise room.

Excellent place to stay!
The room was very nice. It was nice to check in and find that our room temperature was cool in July! The breakfast was great. We loved the coffee!
