Good, basic hotel
Things are a little worn ( one of the towels had a hole in it). But overall the room was clean. Everything worked as it should and the service could not have been any better.

Ok, but not great
We were just stopping through on our way back to St. Louis. We got in around 10pm and everything was nice and quiet. The room was ok, nothing fancy. It could use some renovations, but it appeared clean enough. We got up early to drive home and didn't even shower. Breakfast was ok, as well. There were hard-boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, bread, english muffins, danishes, oatmeal packets, juice and coffee, and some bananas. And there was a cockroach crawling on the floor. It wasn't in my room or on the counter with the food, so I ignored it. The family running the place seemed very sweet and I don't think I paid much for the room. So it suited my purposes.

Not Bad
Lots of repairs going on. Staff was semi-friendly but were "unable" to give me a ground floor room. It appeared that there were empty rooms on ground floor (I had knee surgery 2 weeks earlier).

Nice and cheap
We were taking a long driving trip and needed a place to crash. This hotel is right off I-70 and is near a bunch of restaurants and gas stations. Nice clean room and bathroom at a very low price.

The Colby, KS exit is one of the most convenient in the drive from western CO across KS. There are several hotels and restaurants and we found the people there very friendly.
