Stopped for the night
We were looking for a sleep stop in Western Kansas, and the Colby Days Inn looked like it would work. The hotel was a little tired and out of date, but the room and bathroom were generally clean. The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't make a point of staying here again, not would I avoid the hotel in the future.

Good location, easy access

Try something else.
We had 2 rooms. Ours, I thought, was very clean, until I took a shower in the morning. The shower curtain had 12-18" of orange mold on the bottom of the shower curtain...it grossed me out. The bed was clean, but the pillows smelled like cigarette smoke. Our other room, the AC smelled moldy/musty. Luckily it was cool enough to open the window...not typical for July 31st in western Kansas...usually it is beastly hot. We are going to try another hotel next time.

Montana Mikes is a good place to get a good meal and a cool drink after a long day on the road.

Simple and Quiet
Stayed here en route from Colorado to Missouri. The hotel itself it right off the highway and near a few stores and restaurants with plenty of parking. It wasn't the cleanest or most modern facility, how it was convenient and competitively priced.

It worked
Easy to find, staff was freindly, Room a little over priced, but when your choice is sleeping in the car?? Bed was too soft, but it was clean mostly quiet and everything worked.
