Hotel ownership and staff were extremely friendly and service oriented. The friendly outlook, and service, of the staff made the property tolerable. The property is an old motel and the rooms really need a renovation, especially the bathrooms. The room is a little pricey for the actual accommodations.

Unbeatable location for the lowest price
We stayed at the Budget Inn & Suites in October 2010. The motel is about 2 miles from I-70 exit 53 on US 24. We were returning from our vacation in Denver and took exit 45 off I-70 into Colby on US 24. The outdoor motel is an older property that has been remodelled and kept in good condition. Managers are extremely friendly and helpful. It has a down home country ambiance; rooms are quiet, roomy and clean. Beds are extrmely comfortable with free internet and 32" flat screens. We loved it and will certainly return for the best rooms at lowest rates in Colby. Rooms do not have irons and iron boards but they were available upon request Outdoor pool has been closed. It will be new picnic and grilling area when we return in the Summer.

Short walk from hotel
Right next to the hotel is a Chinese restaurant called the Bamboo Garden. It has the best food we have had in our travels in USA Portions are large and extremely tasty. Very friendly family run restaurant.
