Great Location to Valpo campus!
The staff is GREAT! We have 2 children attending Vaparaiso University and the hotel is right near campus. We actually walked there one day.

Terrible hotel
Hotel was dirty, non smoking rooms reeked of smoke, Shannon at the front desk was rude and didn't even try to help is, we booked 3 rooms and they were all dirty and smoky with burns in the linens. Air condition was noisy and tvs didn't work. DO NOT stay here

Clean, comfortable, and quiet
Super8 was easy to access, plenty of parking, excellent accomadations for seniors. Friendly staff.

Just right for what I needed.
Third time at this property. The event I attended was at nearby Valparaiso University, so the location was excellant. Well maintained property.My frequent concern - not sufficient accessable (table height) electric outlets for all the charging people do these days, in my case just a cell phone. Also-I really don't remember if I requested a non-smoking room, but I didn't get one. I wasn't too concerned, but through the 2 day stay, my clothing picked up smoke odor. I will be more careful about my requests in the future. So - those concerns, but I was very pleased with my stay at the Super 8. Karl

I am fond of the Broadway Grill, about 1/2 mile away on Highway 30. Have not tried the hamburger specialty place right in front of the motel, but it looks appealing.

Almost really good
All was basicly fine. We were at a funeral with family most of the time, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. We requested a wake up call at 7:15 and we ended up waking up at 9:00 in a panic because the phone never rang. Apparently, the clerk entered the request as 7:15 PM rather than 7:15 AM.

Nice Clean Pleasant Stay
We arrived very early but was allowed to check in. The hotel staff was very nice and polite. Our room was very clean and quiet. Our air conditioning in the room worked very well and was not load. The shower was a little hard to adjust but we had plenty of hot water for 4 showers. We had to ask for extra towels and had no problems whatsoever. The breakfast lacked a great deal to be desired. For the price this was a very nice stay! Would definitly stay there again.

Excellent place to stay.
The location was very good for the event I was involved in at Valparaiso University. A Hot Tub or Sauna would have been a nice addition. I hope all motel remodels will get more electrical outlets in places that are easily accesable for guests to plug in cell phones, charge computers, etc.
