Excellent Stay
Hotel was wonderful. Beds were wonderful and the pool area was very nice. Staff was some of the most inviting I have experienced recently. Breakfast in the morning was great as far as hotel breakfast goes.

Overall, very nice
This is a pretty standard Holiday Inn Express. I was in Valpo visiting my son, a grad student at Valpo U. The most disconcerting moment was when we were entering the hotel to check-in: a mouse ran out the door! The room was nice. Some of the pillows on the bed were a little lumpy and probably need to be replaced. The breakfast was good and was fresh. Overall, the hotel was nice.

Went to Wagner's for dinner. Very good. Fish and chips were excellent.

Great overnight stay
I called ahead to say we would be arriving late and the staff said we'll be here and is there anything we can do for you. We did get turned around with our driving directions because South was not on the address. The breakfast was good and well stocked.

Serviceable
The staff were friendly and it was a nice stay. The hotel's location can be slightly deceiving if one is using a GPS to find the way.

Very Busy Mom
Wished for more, but overall satisfied
I was put on hold 5 times while trying to reserve a crib prior to arrival, but the manager was very quick to make it right. When we arrived housekeeping had left a dirty rag in the room and I was put on the second floor when I had requested a first floor room. The room was missing common hospitality items and there was a hole in the bathroom door. The smart start breakfast could have a better selection, but the staff was great.
